“Staff was so helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and well-appointed. It was a great place to stay.”

“The staff were very accommodating and the room was lovely. HOWEVER, as in so many hotels, the lighting is more decorative than functional. The closets are the size of a postage stamp and the bathroom is barely big enough to turn around in. It is an old, historic hotel, and it’s possible that city codes prevent modernization. There are many other hotels in that location where you would probably get more bang for your buck. ”

“We stay at this property often. We go to Charleston to visit my daughter, grandchildren and son-in-law. We always stay here. The people that work here are amazing. They have a new manager who is super nice! This particular visit we had a family emergency. She was so accommodating and nice.. We always enjoy our stay here. ”
