「Good host」

「We booked this property for a stay while I took 2 of my sons to the Twins game at Guaranteed Rate Field. Overall it was a great place to stay, it was close to the Field Museum and Lincoln Park Zoo that we went to, and was easy to get to and from the baseball park as well. I do hope they get the tv on the rooftop patio working though, we didn’t really use that space since the tv wasn’t working while we were there. That was the only real downfall of the trip!」

「Space was perfect for (small) adult family reunion. Lots of space to retreat to - and lots of space to be together. Plenty of Bathrooms for privacy. Kitchen / bath fixtures and finishes are great. A few spots that show the age of latest renovation - but overall still great. Bed/bedding was excellent. Location was nice for enjoying Fulton Market, River North, and the Loop. Contact with host was perfect: timely, cheerful, helpful. Would certainly do again」

「We originally looked for hotels before checking VRBO and are so glad we found this. The apartment: 2 levels, first floor and basement. As you walk in, there's a spacious living room area with a large picture window. Further back is the first bedroom with two very comfortable beds. Each floor has a clean, updated bathroom. The lower level has a large kitchen with everything you need to cook and entertain your group plus another bedroom with queen bunks. Location on a very quiet street that...

「We came to the Chicago area for a graduation. There were multiple age ranges in the house and the set up was perfect for us. The older folks stayed in the 2 main floor bedrooms (the staircase downstairs was hard for them) and the younger folks stayed in the downstairs bedroom. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, a full bath, kitchen, dining room with a large table and a sitting room with a TV. Downstairs has a bedroom with a door, a sitting room with a futon and tv, a full bath and a laundry room....

「The fam went for a mini vacay to get away, immerse in Chicago culture, check out colleges, and vibe with the scene. This was the perfect place to freely explore the top attractions and more. Transportation is effortless from this shoreline location. Enjoy the authentic parts of life as a Chicagoan. There is a lot of space for the size and parking was available a majority of the time. The owners are prompt, organized and make the process super simple.」

「We enjoyed our stay. We were out exploring the city for the whole weekend so we didn’t spend a lot of time actually on-site. But it was a convenient location to all the things we wanted to do. It was also great for a place to crash at the end of the days. This is a great place to operate out of especially for groups! I would recommend it.」

「This house allowed 30 people to stay comfortably sharing beds. The neighborhood requires ubering to other locations, but works for large groups. The house was fairly clean.」

「My friends and I stayed here for the weekend and we had a ton of space for everyone and the neighborhood was so cute and super convenient for walking to the places we wanted to see in the city. The check in and out processes were super simple and straightforward and any questions I had were answered very quickly via vrbo messages. Would definitely recommend for a group of adults or any large group looking for a place to stay in downtown Chicago!!」

「Gorgeous, large townhouse. We loved the location and the townhouse itself. The lock box was a little confusing because there are 2. In the age of door codes, I wasn’t expecting this. Another word of note: the staircase is old and the wood is worn on some places. If you have small children or someone who is unstable on their feet you might want to consider this.」
