"We had a short and sweet stay at Kelly’s home. The space itself is warm and inviting. The room and bathroom were clean, And the free homemade breakfast is an incredible bonus. Her papaya muffins are simply divine, light, flavorful, and made with love — the perfect way to start each morning in paradise. If you’re visiting Hawaii, don’t think twice. Kelly’s hospitality and attention to detail will make your trip unforgettable!"

"We unfortunately were not able to stay at this property due to the lack of air conditioning. We reasonably expected some form of A/C given the warm and humid climate, but this was not mentioned in the listing.Because of medical conditions, air conditioning is a requirement for us, not just a preference. Upon arrival, it became clear we could not safely remain in the room and had to leave shortly after checking in.That said, communication with the host was excellent. Andy was responsive, kind, and professional throughout the process. We did discuss the situation and our health concerns, but due to the established cancellation policy and the timing of our arrival, a refund was not possible.The property itself appears to be in a nice location with a beautiful setting, but future guests should be aware that there is no air conditioning, which may be an important consideration depending on your needs."

"Balcony chair webbing was ripped open. There were tears in the drapery lining, Fridge and ice bin were in the bathroom > unpleasant double duty for bath vanity. NO MICROWAVE! The toilet/bathtub room was as dimly lit as a 15 watt lightbulb. The bathroom exhaust system wasn't working leaving the room soaked with moisture. The towel rack above the toilet had large areas of rusty bare metal. The grunge factor was everywhere. Upgrades have been done with new paint and tile but done on the cheap with unskilled labor. Tile corners were rough. Overpaint on doorknobs and towel hooks. Ceiling light by balcony door looks like it has been there since the 1970s. The very small desk area was directly under the TV. Power outlet on the desk lamp was so worn out a power cord would not stay in contact. The next closest power outlet was 8 feet away under the small table, or, it was in the mishmash of cords behind the desk that served the cable boxes. Wi-Fi was inconsistent and kept disconnecting. And after a power failure it never came back before we left. Why wasn't the hotel's system better surge protected? The noisy bar had an entertainer that thought distorted volume made up for lack of talent. The bar's Mai Tai was the worst EVER. I bottled cocktail would have been better. It tasted like canned orange juice. I ordered two Mai Tais and a French dip sandwich to go. Mai Tais were made right away. The drink ice had melted before the sandwich was served... with no dip sauce or napkins."

"Incredibly good deal for the price. No elevator but my unit was a mini apartment with sofa bed, kitchenette stocked with utensils, cookware and real plates and glasses. Fridge/freezer was much larger than the under counter units in bigger chain hotels. There was even a washer/ dryer. Better than an Extended Stay in that regard. Hotel manager was easily accessible by phone to answer questions and deal with a complicated booking situation. Got it resolved quickly and extremely favorably. Parking was free and very close to the building. 12 spaces advertised but the last two were in the exit driveway. No one wanted to back out of the driveway onto the street (no turn around) or get hit so didn't park in those spaces. Some small things that would make it even better: I actually baked a pizza in the toaster oven. Hot mitts would have been nice. A small trash can under the kitchen sink would be nice. Beats walking into the bathroom or living room after wiping up spills. Couldn't tell if the remote control for room comfort did anything. The settings changed on the remote but not on the unit inside the room. I would definitely stay there again."

"Wonderful staff! Very close to the airport, downtown, and stadium. Room was clean. If you are traveling with anyone who has mobility issues, some rooms are located far from the lobby. There are no stairs for rooms on the upper level. We could hear people outside of our room passing by and talking and going up the stairs with their luggage. Hard to fall asleep with the noise. "

"Overall, we enjoyed this rental and had a pleasant time. There were a variety of amenities provided that contributed to a comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly and responsive."

"Our room had a coffee pot and filters but no coffee. No facial tissue. Limited seating other than beds. Staff was wonderful. Outdoor space had a lot to offer. "
