"Loved the stay and the view of the northern lights"

"We enjoyed our stay. The location was central for us to use as a hub to take day trips out and back from. It was just the right size for two. The guesthouse was clean and bright and we were greeted by chickens and a rooster upon arrival."

"This wonderful home has it all. It is centrally located to all the wonderful attractions in the South Coast. Very spacious, but warm and inviting. The gourmet kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day of hiking. We were able to see a wonderful Northern Lights display with the wide open land around us. Would recommend and would stay here again on another trip to Iceland."

"The Lake House was beautiful and clean. It was a great spot to start all our adventures traversing the South side of Iceland. We arrived later in the day and had a bit of an embarrassing mix-up with our directions. However, Renate was very nice about us driving into the horse training area, sorry again for that. She was also very responsive to all our needs and our stay was just wonderful. We did not see the Northern Lights, but that may just mean we have to go back. Next time during a month...

Kept ourselves very busy exploring Iceland to the fullest during the days, comming back in the evening we felt welcomed and had everything what we needed to rest and enjoy some off time. "Wir waren für 4 Tage in dieser Unterkunft. 4Erwachsene und 1Kleinkind (13Monate). Es hat alles super geklappt.Bei Fragen gab es schnell die Antwort. Die Unterkunft an sich, ist an machen stellen etwas verlebt, aber das tut dem Wohlfühlfaktor keinen Abbruch. So war es zumindest bei uns. Da die Unterkunft schon etwas klein ist,war es mit 4 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind für die 4 Tage ok.. Direkt in der Nähe kann man Höhlen besichtigen...1min Fußweg. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden."

"We stayed at Klara’s Villa for the second half of our Iceland trip. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the Golden Circle, Reykjanes peninsula and the south coast. "We celebrated our wedding in Iceland and chose this amazing house to stay with our friends and family. There was plenty of space for all of us and we really enjoyed the fully enclosed atrium as well as the hot tub. It was also nice that the kitchen was separate from the area with all the bedrooms because we didn't need to worry about walking people up. Greg and Magnea were excellent hosts that were attentive to anything we needed and made sure we were well taken care of. The location is...

"Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man hat einen wundervollen Ausblick über den Fluss. Da das Wetter sehr gut war, konnten wir die großzügige Terrasse mit den zahlreichen Sitzgelegenheiten nutzen. Ein Highlight war der tolle HotPot. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder mieten."

"I like in the countryside and unique lodge experience, being Cosy and hot-tub. The small inconvenience is the beds are rather small. My son's legs overhang the single beds. Also the steps was a bit too steep when visiting downstairs toilet middle of the night. Overall I loved it."

"We have been guests at the Afternoon Cottages twice. We stayed in #4 the first time and #5 the second time. They are mirror images of each other. Everything was clean and the location is perfect for seeing the Aurora as long as the sky is clear. Communication with the property manager was easy and effortless and on our first stay we even extended it by a day. I highly recommend the Afternoon Cottages."
