「Here’s how you can put that together: First, the hotel has no Wi-Fi, which prevents me from using my laptop to handle tomorrow’s work. Second, the mattress still has a plastic cover on it that hasn’t been removed. It’s just a thin sheet on top, and when I lie down, it feels damp and clammy. Every time I turn over, the plastic makes a loud noise, which really affects my sleep quality.」

We forfeited our payment as the room smelled musty; there was exposed plumbing in the bathroom, carpet was very old, water spotted ceiling in the room and the lobby. Shouldn't be listed on Expedia. 「The location felt safe but was very noisy. Between sirens, the EV charging station right outside my window and inexplicably aggressive house keeping, it was difficult to get good sleep. The breakfast and breakfast staff were very good. My room had a whirlpool tub. It worked well and did its purpose nicely. 」

「If you’re thinking about staying in Lakeland, stay here! It’s close to everything, just a few miles to Joker Merchant Stadium, and Cheddar restaurant is in the same parking lot, it is delicious. We stayed 3 nights and had zero complaints/problems. The hotel is so clean, smells so fresh, rooms were roomy, beds comfortable, and clean, staff were all nice, and complimentary breakfast was delicious-not your normal free hotel breakfast. 「The room that was assigned to me had dirty carpet as you can easily see dirt and debris on it. The carpet definitely needed a good cleansing. In the night, I spotted 2 roaches in the room crawling around which is a health hazard. I informed the staff in the morning while checking out - and they got into defensive mode only saying 'apologies for this incident, we never had this complaint'. Glad I had pictures to prove roaches in the room. Also the couch in the room was in a poor shape & needed...

「Not much to complain about. Great location, with easy access off the interstate. Room was quite spacious and well appointed. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. We would stay here again when in the area.」
