"We travel a lot and this hotel was top notch for the interior decorating. It was gorgeously done and the location is the best in town. However, I still can’t get over how rude their bartender was 2 nights in a row. He wasn’t just rude to us- the people beside us were not impressed either. I actually told the bartender that maybe he was in the wrong career choice. He agreed and just got ruder. It was pretty shocking. But this is definitely the nicest hotel in town and hopefully the bartender is fired before we visit again."

"I stayed solo 6 nights to visit friends nearby so very convenient. The staff could not have been friendlier and made the stay very comfortable. The Solaire food was most excellent. The staff get an A++ and are a real asset. The carts by housekeeping make alot of noise on the concrete walkways making napping impossible during the day. Avoid a room by the stair as people run up and down and noise radiates through the walls. The rooms were very quiet for the most part as they are soundproofed. That is kind of rare. The pool area looked very inviting but for the fact there were alot of families on vacation. The public spaces were inviting to use and tastefully decorated in various themes. I didn't learn the building history but Marriot did a great job converting an old hotel into something more resort-like."

"Excellent stay! I loved our cabin. It had a beautiful view, and my family really enjoyed spending time surrounded by nature, the river, and the majestic redwood trees. It was peaceful, relaxing, and a wonderful place to create family memories. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide daily housekeeping, including room cleaning and fresh towels each day. That would make the stay even more comfortable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely come back!"

"Very hard to find without cell service. Property was mostly as advertised. Clean, cozy and comfortable It’s a bit ridiculous to pay 600 per night and then have to pay extra to use the BBQ."
Light-Filled Redwood Cottage with Clawfoot Tub

"This place was incredbile - we wanted to move in! Light filled and spacious with a HUGE tub and a super comfy bed. The hosts thought of everything. There was a towel warmer, extra blankets and they even put bottles of shampoo, conditioner, ect out and provided any kind of cutlery we could ask for. We felt like we were staying in a little peaceful oasis. The hosts were gret to communicate with and the spot was SUPER peaceful - little rabbits all over the place. HIGHLY reccommend!"
