Die Liebe zum Detail
Wir waren für eine Nacht bei Ute in der Villa Venusta. Von Anfang an haben wir uns Willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und sauber gehalten. Die Zimmer sind sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Es duftet sehr frisch im Zimmer. Toilettenartikel findet man ebenfalls im Badezimmer vor. Am Abend sind wir ins Zentrum von Hermanus gelaufen. Der tolle Weg führt über den Felsenweg, er ist an der Küste entlang angelegt und man ist in ca. 15min. im Zentrum von Hermanus.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Man findet alles was das Herz begehrt. Sogar warme Speisen werden von der Gastgeberin auf wunsch zubereitet.
Diese Unterkunft werden wir sehr gerne weiterempfehlen. Wer hier Bucht macht definitiv nichts falsch.

Ankommen uns sich sofort wohl fühlen
Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in Süd Afrika und auch zum zweiten Mal in Hermanus.
Villa Venusta ist ein persönlich und sehr liebevoll geführtes Haus, in dem wir uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt haben. Hier könnten wir wunderbar in unseren Urlaub einsteigen. Unsere Gastgeberinhat uns jeden Morgen mit einen tollen Frühstück verwöhnt. Alles frisch zubereitet und liebevoll präsentiert.
Für uns ist Hermanus ein Ort mit einem besonderen Zauber. Den Walen so nah zu sein ist ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis.
Von der Unterkunft kann man auf dem Cliff Path gemütlich in den Ort laufen. Die wunderschönsten Ausblicke und die Wale begleiten einem auf den Weg dorthin. Man muss natürlich in der Zeit vor Ort sein, in der sich auch die Wale mit ihren Jungtieren dort aufhalten.
Also, Villa Venusta - eine Unterkunft, die nur weiterzuempfehlen ist. Danke Ute

Fabuleuse maison d’hotes, points de vue des espaces commun exceptionnel, petit déjeuner des plus correct.
UN GROS BÉMOL cependant concernant les relations avec l’hote, madame hute était très brut de décoffrage sur plusieurs aspects!!

Entlang der Garden-Route ...
Jeder Golf-Liebhaber wird das Guesthouse "Villa Venusta" der Gastgeber Ute und Thomas lieben, alle anderen aber auch ! Der Empfang und der Umgang mit den Gästen ist überaus herzlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir waren von dem Haus, seinen Annehmlichkeiten und unserem Zimmer sehr begeistert. Ute steht mit Rat und Tat zum Thema Besuch in Hermanus und Umgebung zur Seite und hat den einen oder anderen "Geheimtipp" auf Lager :)
Zusammenfassend.....wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, werden wir hier absteigen !!

Excellent B&B close to town.
The property is close to the cliff path so you can walk to either the Old or New Harbour for drinks and dinner. Very convenient.

Très bon accueil Belle chambre bien décorée (n°6). Terrasse privative.
La douche à l'italienne est mal disposée car l'eau se projette un peu partout par manque de vitre.

Herzliche Unterkunft mit viel Liebe zum Detail
Wir waren 2 Nächte in Hermanus bei Ute und Thomas und haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Ute stand uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und ließ keine Wünsche offen.
Die Stadt ist gut zu Fuß (10 Minuten) erreichbar und der Weg geht zum größten Teil an der Küste entlang. Vielen Dank für den unvergesslichen Aufenthalt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Rustig gelegen hotel. Helemaal op golf afgestemd.
De service van de eigenaresse is zeer goed. Daardoor ook is dit een plek waar je je thuisvoelt. Voor de gasten is er een grote zitkamer en een keuken met een grote koelkast en magnetron.

We only spent one night at the hotel as we were passing through Hermanus.
The owners were keen golfers and there was a lot of golfing memorabilia around the hotel.
The accommodation was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

This is one of the nicest guest houses I have stayed in recently. The facilities are extremely good and the owner is most welcoming. If you are a golfing person you will enjoy this golf themed place. Excellent breakfast and good value for money
