Great Munich getaway!

The apartment is exactly as described and does not disappoint. Beautiful views, quiet friendly town, and a well kept and elegant apartment. It's has everything you need and more. The owner is great to work with and has tons of information about all the area has to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location in Ammersee

We enjoyed our stay. Stephan was there to meet us and showed us around and how everything works. It's a big place and he was very thorough. He made great suggestions about the area, what to do and how to get around. Stephan was very thoughtful and checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going okay. By far, this has been our best VRBO. Communication was wonderful and the property is accurately reflected in the pictures. Thank you for a wonderful and safe place to stay.

What a place

We had a perfect stay at the place of the Hassenbach family. As a former hotel and restaurant owner I know what hospitality can be and this is the top of the top. No prestigious stuff, but everything exactly as it should be. The apartment is extremely well equipped, very clean, perfect location and the host has everything well prepared, including tips of the surroundings in English and German. Every single hospitality person should come to this apartment and take an example on how hospitality can be delivered to the utmost. Thanks very much for your kind introduction to the apartment! We will be back!!

Simply Stunning!

You might not think of the Ammersee when visiting Bavaria but this place was perfect. An easy train ride to Munich and a beautiful drive through the country side to visit all the castles in the area. Best of all you come back to these fantastic sunsets, walks on the promenade , lovely restaurants and you very own villa. The villa is as beautiful as the photos and filled with wonderful little touches that make you feel at home. Stephen is a great host from the first contact to meeting us there and the incredible orientation book he has created. I have stayed at many vacation rentals and have never seen such a comprehensive book! He was in contact with us all though our stay. 5 stars maybe too low for this beautiful property!

Absolutely 5 star experience, great apartment and location

We stayed for over a month at Summerstrasse. The location right on the lake in Herrsching is a joy compared to being in the centre of Munich, yet easily and quickly accessed via the S8 S-Bahn a few minutes away. The apartment itself is extremely well equipped with high quality appliances, good TV service (though limited English language services). Excellent high speed internet, comfortable beds and very nice fittings make the apartment a real home from home, with great sunset views from balcony over the lake. The listing is absolutley accurate - not always to be assumed with online bookings! I also have to note that Stephan is a joy as owner, being very helpful and walked through on arrival and followed up subsequently. Highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect location and apartment!!!

Absolutely beautiful apartment and with amazing view and location on Ammersee - wow!! Stephan communicated with us so well from the booking day through the last day of our vacation. While we were in Germany - we were able to communicate with him via Whatsapp. Stephan met us at the apartment, made us feel at home immediately, and walked us through giving us detailed information. Very clean and stylish apartment!! Perfect balcony with incredible views of the lake. So close to the S-Bahn to go to Munich or anywhere in Germany. Walking distance to many great restaurants, cafes, grocery shops, bars, Etc, Andechs, the ferry that takes you around the lake, and so many other options. We only went into Munich 3 times during our 10 day visit ... Because we never wanted to leave Herrsching and the apartment :-)) The boardwalk in front of the apartment is fantastic with great bars, beautiful walk ... Bier gardens ... Cafes ... Boat rentals. Beautiful Apartment!!

Wow...what a wonderful place. We had a fabulous time at this tranquil lakeside apartment. My wife and I have stayed at several places and we have to say that by far this is one of the best! The decor, the linens, the dishes, the amenities, everything was very well thought out. We've already purchased a DeLonghi Nespresso machine like we had at the apartment because we loved it so much! Stephen was a wonderful host and met us at the apartment upon our arrival to go through operations. He was available via email and responded quickly to answer any questions we had. The location was perfect with restaurants, grocery stores, deli's, shops, beer gardens, boat rentals, bicycle rentals, the ferry, and train station, all within a 5 minute walk. Had wonderful meals at Steg 32, Seehof Biergarten, Ristorante Seespitz Da Mario and ordered pizza to go from Restaurant Promenade Herrsching to eat on the bulkhead and watch the sunset. It's a great central location to take day trips to Munich City Center, Neuschwanstein Castle, Andechs Monastery Brewery etc. You can swim in the lake, go for a stroll on the boardwalk or just sit on the deck and take it all in! Spectacular vacation. Thank you Stephan for sharing your slice of paradise!

Spectacular Apartment

My husband and I were looking for a place to spend a week working remotely that was in the countryside but still accessible to Munich. This apartment was well suited for that as it had an excellent desk. The location is absolutely perfect - right on the lake with a gorgeous view. We ate most of our meals on the balcony and it was set up perfectly with umbrellas and beautiful flowers. Everything you could want is in walking distance, from restaurants, grocery stores, and an incredible bakery. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and went SUP. The apartment is extremely spacious, although we did not use the upstairs much. The bathroom is large and very well equipped. I especially appreciated the little touches like the dividers in the drawer in the bathroom so you could really unpack. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Stephan met us when we arrived and took the time to explain everything we needed to know. He created the most informative book of any vacation rental I have ever stayed it and it was very useful. I highly recommend the hike to Andechs brewery and taking the boat from Herrsching to Dießen. There so many things to do in the area - plus you can hop on the train to Munich. We loved staying here and hope to come back.

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub und hat keine Wünsche offengelassen.

Unser Aufenthalt war eine sehr schöne Woche direkt am Ammersee. Der Traumhafte Blick, die direkte Seenähe und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten waren sehr gut.Der Vermieter war sehr nett, die Abstimmung völlig komplikationslos und sehr gut vorbereitet.Die Wohnung selbst ist genau wie im Inserat beschrieben und ließ für uns als kleine Familie keine Wünsche offen.Es war eine sehr schöne Woche und kann nur weiterempfohlen werden.

Leider können wir nur 5 Sterne vergeben :-).Angefangen vom sehr sympathischen Gastgeber bis hin zum Ende unseres Urlaubes, war alles perfekt. Das Apartment ist traumhaft, liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Besser geht es nicht. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Grandiose Wohnung

Wir wurden herzlich vom Eigentümer empfangen und eingeführt. Die Wohnung liegt wunderbar in erste Seereihe, direkter Zugang zur Seepromenade, direkter Einstieg in den See inklusive, zwei Minuten zu Fuß zu Dampfersteg, Bäcker, Biergarten, fünf Minuten zu Fuß zu Supermarkt, Biomarkt und S-Bahn-Haltestelle. Mittendrin und doch über allem, ruhig, mit einem umwerfenden Blick auf den Ammersee, vor allem zum Sundowner auf dem Balkon. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich vorstellen kann, inklusive umfangreiche Informationen, was wie wo in Herrsching und am Ammersee. Schöne Wanderungen direkt von der Wohnung aus. Rundherum ein gelungener einwöchiger Urlaub im Herbst, der Sommer spielte.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in großartiger Lage

Nach einem sehr freundlichen Empfang, haben wir hier einen schönen und erholsamen Kurzurlaub verbracht. Trotz der wunderbar zentralen Lage - das Auto wurde während der Tage nie benötigt - ist die Wohnung sehr ruhig und der Ausblick ist wirklich einmalig.

Würden immer wieder nach Herrsching reisen!

Wir wurden am Anreisetag freundlich vom Wohnungseigentümer empfangen und er hat uns mit einer Führung durch die Wohnung mit der Technik und Besonderheiten vertraut gemacht. Das Objekt ist in einem Top-Zustand übergeben worden und wir sind keineswegs von der Beschreibung und den Fotos enttäuscht worden. Nicht nur der Blick auf den See, sondern das Objekt an sich hat seinen Reiz mit seiner außergewöhnlichen Galerie und der schönen, hellen Holzdeckenkonstruktion. Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet!! Eine schöne Ferienwohnung ist für uns schon ein großer Teil eines gelungenen Urlaubs! M. Herold

Traumhafte Wohnung in direkter Seelage

Die Lage der Wohnung ist fantastisch, direkt am See und alle Geschäfte in unmittelbarer Fußnähe. Die Ferienwohnung selber ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünscht. Sehr wertvolle Tipps für Unternehmungen bekamen wir schon nach der Buchung. In Corona Zeiten muss man allerdings sehr frühzeitig Tickets (z.B. für Schlösserbesichtigungen) buchen, was wir schlicht weg nicht bedacht hatten. Wir können die Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
