Cozy Suite on Cedars 1300sq ft (ONE LEVEL)

Cozy apartment located in a quite neighborhood. Private drive right up to the door, no stairs or steps. Established neighborhood with one entrance. Thirteen hundred square feet apartment all on one level. Outdoor Lanai for relaxing, large fire pit, and an extended area for play.
Located within minutes to lake Hickory.
Main attractions to this area: Charlotte stadium, 1 1/2 hr, Biltmore House 1 1/2 hr, and Boone NC ski resorts 1 hour.
Government ID is required

Great Place for staying alone or with family!

Apartment with private driveway, parking, and ground level entrance.

Living Room:
Couch, workspace, television, dvd player, books, toys, wood burning fireplace.

Kitchen:
Fridge, stove, table, microwave, toaster, snacks, utensils, dishes, pans and kitchen sink.

Bedroom One: King size bed, dresser, large closet and access to bathroom.

Bedroom Two: Queen size bed, walk in closet, dresser, access to bathroom.

Outdoor: Outdoor seating.

The space
My attached apartment space is well lit and is on the lower level with a separate driveway and entryway. The home and apartment is at the end of a cul-de-sac and offers privacy. My home is only two miles from lake Hickory and a local boat access used for boating, fishing, and walking (exercise). My space is a 50 minute drive from Blowing Rock/Boone Area and about an hour from Asheville, Charlotte, and Winston Salem.

I am about an hour to hour and a half from the Biltmore Estate, the Bank of America (Carolina Panthers) Stadium, Apple picking, snow and water skiing, great hiking, the Blue Ridge Parkway(beautiful scenery during the fall when the leafs change color) and great shopping in Charlotte or the Outlets in Blowing Rock. I’m less than ten miles from the CRAWDADS stadium and Hickory Metro convention center.

Guest access
Guests have access to the walkout basement floor apartment. Private outdoor patio seating area. All guests have access to a bathroom, a living area with wood burning fire place, and a kitchen space.

Other things to note
I do not accept high school students.
Cigarette smokers have to be 20 ft from entry way while smoking.

Check in was very easy with a key code door . There is a large kitchen with a microwave ,Kerig (with coffee and creamer ), popcorn popper,air fryer ,pretty much anything you could think of . Snacks were left out as well .

I was in Hickory for a professional training at LRU. My family traveled with me. This property was a short drive to LRU. The neighborhood was quiet, and the accommodations were lovely… and cozy indeed! In my opinion, however, the true magic of this property is its host! She is a gem of a human being. No matter the time of day, she was responsive— almost immediately! … and when a family emergency arose suddenly, she was kind, compassionate and flexible. Hoping to stay with her again next summer when I have training again!!

Great place to stay

We were in town to move our son into college nearby and this place was a great find. Owner has it stocked with everything you need, the place is very clean and beds are very comfortable. The owner is very accommodating and communicated with us frequently making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

My 96 year old dad and I stayed here for four nights while visiting his 94 year old wife at Brookdale Senior Living. It was a short drive and very nice accommodations for both of us. Beautiful setting, well appointed inside, very nice host, and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, Deborah.

Wonderful place

Spent the weekend there for my son’s birthday. What a wonderful place. Clean and comfortable. We had the Firepit burning all weekend. Nice quiet neighborhood and huge back yard to hang out in. Property owner was great.

Hickory Area Getaway

We used this rental as a convenient place for family to gather for a weekend. Unit was very clean and exactly as pictured in listing. Location in a quiet residential neighborhood was good for us. Enjoyed the outdoor seating areas and would have used the fire pit if the weather had cooperated more. Lots of nice touches from the owner like a duraflame log for firepit and k-cups/sugar/creamer for coffee.

Great Place. I love the comfortable reclining leather chairs. So quiet. So close to Hickory Lake and Public Boat launch, Shady Hiking Trail along lake and fishing docks. If I have to be away from home for work much nicer to stay here near lake than in Business District.

Perfect for us

Deb’s home was the perfect choice to stay while visiting family that live close by. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is close to many tourists areas also. Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway is about an hour away and we enjoyed going there during our stay. We look forward to staying again while visiting family.
