“Lovely room, with a very nice bathroom. The hotel was well located within a 2 min walk from the centre of town which made an evening walk around the old sights very enjoyable. “Really impressive building, architecturally fully of history. Lovely, welcoming and super hospitable and respectful staff. A bit of a family feel to the place. “I was very impressed with the Queen's Head. Nice clean room in a great location in Higher Buxton. Housekeeping promptly every day. First-rate full English breakfast included. My only complaint is that the room was rather small. There was no space to have an open suitcase, so I had to stuff it in a closet. That was a little inconvenient. Of course, I realize there is nothing they can do about that. It is an old building, and the room size is what it is.”
