“We had spotted this cottage on previous walks on visits to the area and wanted to try it. Very well appointed and comfortable cottage in a lovely area. We will definitely come again. One minor suggestion would be that property gets a larger frying pan as the one provided is quite small (or you could take one along with you!) ”

“Thank you again for providing such a fantastic base for our holiday. Curlew Cottage was equipped with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the en-suite was a bonus. The location was stunning with a wonderful view to enjoy from the lovely garden. Betty the Cockapoo had a great time, getting to know the other animals, though I think she might have been disappointed that Jack, the sheep, wouldn't chase her. She enjoyed meeting them all. We definitely plan to return hopefully……

Felt "away from it all" but also only a 5 min drive or so from the main Buxton to Ashbourne road so easy to get to places. Owners communication was excellent and the on site facilities were good. “Where to begin, think I may run out of superlatives! Our Sheldon Cottage was the most wonderful place to spend 4 days. The view alone was priceless. Steve and Hazel have designed the cottage to the highest possible standard and it has everything one could possibly need. It is wonderfully equipped for anyone with a disability, a wheelchair can easily whizz around all the accommodation. We loved the wonderful notices in the cottage, all suggestions rather than orders, all so gentle. Very luxurious……
