1468 Sound Villas- Coastal Chic and Calibogue Sound Views

Enjoy the picturesque views of the Calibogue Sound and Daufuskie Island as well as dolphins swimming by right in front of this complex. This coastal chic inspired townhome has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and is just steps away from the beach and all of the fun and amenities that South Beach has to offer -- from dining, shopping, tennis, the marina and so much more. This unit is beautiful from top to bottom making it a spacious townhome feel like a beach home right out of Coastal Living Magazine.

Downstairs on the 1st floor, you will find a den with a large, wall-mounted TV, Queen Sleeper Sofa and sliding glass doors leading to a patio with an outdoor shower. Also, on this level is a guest bedroom with 2 Queens, a flat panel TV and a slider leading to a brick patio. A full bathroom in the hall is accessible to both the bedroom and den.

The 2nd floor has an open and airy living area with another large, wall-mounted flat-screen TV. Sliding glass doors lead out to a deck with a gas grill and patio table (seating for 4) while a wet bar with a wine chiller on the opposite side takes you into the dining and kitchen area. Off the kitchen is a guest bedroom with 1 queen & 1 extra-long twin bed, along with a full hall bathroom. Upstairs on the 3rd floor are 2 more bedrooms, each king bedding, flat panel TV and each with a private full bathroom.

The only problem is the beautiful lights over bar would blink when turned on. Should be checked Perfectly beautiful decor . I am 74 so the steps were hard on me. But lovely place.

Short getaway

Nice location with access to outlets, grocery store, restaurants and the beach. It was enough room for a family of 8 with 3 kids. Also nice view of the sound in the backyard.

Comfortable, but needs significant improvements

Bathrooms, lighting, and kitchen need to be updated. The upstairs carpet is badly stained. This unit is overpriced for the condition it’s in. I would not recommend or rent this unit again.

Great vacation getaway

We absolutely loved this villa & the location! It comfortably slept 6 adults and 3 kids. It was such an easy walk to the beach with a beautiful view from the second balcony. It was equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen & the beach towels provided was an added bonus. We enjoyed bike rides, dolphin watching, and the short walk to stores and restaurants. Would definitely recommend & hope to visit again soon!

Perfect location

The location of this property was exactly what we were looking for. It was away from the crowds, but easily accessible to restaurants, stores, etc. It has a very short easy walk to the beach or the pool. We watched the beautiful sunsets every night. The townhouse was clean, comfortable and spacious. Room for everyone to spread out. The beds were extremely comfortable. The only concern would be the number of steps in the villa. It was not a problem for us, but may be if anyone in your party has difficulty with stairs. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends!

Annual Family Trip to HHI

Property was very nice and fit our family of 8 adults well. Well furnished and nicely decorated. Only issue was washer was filled with mold. Party member is allergic to mold. Needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Beautiful, with a lot of room for a small family reunion.

First let me say the view from the condo was very amazing. The condo was a great place for the 3 couples to visit . We each had our own floor. Unfortunately the weather was bad so we spent too much time inside. The DVD player was not and there were no cables to hook it up. I had sent a mess using the chat app ask me if there was a usable fireplace and they said yes there is a fireplace. But unfortunately my husband was very disappointed, especially with especially with the weather it would have been nice to have a working fireplace to cuddle up to. A condo location at the end of the end of the island is inconvenient that takes too long to get off the property. But all and all, we had a great time. The local Community was very friendly and very helpful.

This property is in a great location with a walk out to the Calibogue Sound with dolphins galore. It is a short walk to the Salty Dog cafe and the local shops. The unit is updated and clean. Would definitely stay here again!!

Peaceful, relaxing, refreshing, laid-back, comfortable, FUN!!!!!

We fished, kayaked, danced, cruised, visited friends and family, cooked together, dolphin watched, cast nets for shrimp, ate shrimp, sang, toured Daufuskie Island, sampled wine, shopped, basked, walked, biked, collected shells and pine cones, bird watched, named a heron Henry, and fed Henry fish that we caught.
