Being pet-friendly was a key factor for us. Our dog did her business and we cleaned up after her. She went in the designated area behind our rental and some times at the edge of the road during walks. Again, we always cleaned up after her and have waste bags attached to the leash for that purpose. Last night she squatted to pee on the edge of the road. An older man shot out the door and showed me a sign on the door (which wasn’t clearly visible while walking) that said “Pee and Poop Free Zone”. He started yelling at me that his grandkids being exposed and to “Respect His Space!” I pointed out that my dog peed on the road not in “His Space”)He wasn’t having any of it. I said “got it” and then went back to my rental. I was too angered to note his building number. A lot of people walk their dogs and all are friendly and we pleasantly greet each other. This guy can ruin a good thing. Thought you should know.
