「Stayed for one night in one of the standard double rooms. All the staff from check-in to check-out were friendly & helpful, the room itself was perfect (lots of space in the room, has a desk and tv, bed was comfy, shower was a lot bigger then we expected very modern, it had a small fridge and everything was clean). Restaurant & bar downstairs which was really good.
Just remember there is no lift (which they state on the listing) if you come with heavy/lots of bags. This was no bother to us...

「We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. 「A bit of an issue with the booking and whether breakfast was included or not. Advertised as free continental breakfast for all rooms, only to be told on arrival it wasnt included. 「This hotel is excellent. They have thought of everything, from earplugs by the bed to a digital Robert’s radio playing classic fm when you arrive. Beautifully decorated and comfortable.
Great bar and restaurant and wonderful staff.
I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels and this is up there and way better than a lot of far more expensive places I’ve stayed. If I’m ever in the area this will be where I stay.」
