"Well located in an area with many shops and restaurants. Located next to a tram line - it's not located at the Shinkansen station - you will likely need to take a taxi if you have luggage. Otherwise the tram can take you between the station and hotel. You can also walk to the ferry terminal for Sakurajima (~20min walk). We booked a room specifically as it was a Sakurajima view room. You should note that the room is not facing directly at Sakurajima - you need to be standing at the window and...

"Overall a very good hotel. Very good breakfast. A lot of dining options around (it is in the entertainment district). The only downside is tiny rooms. However, they are completely ergonomic and functional"
