"Well for starters, the lockbox was attached to a subway sign right where a homeless man was posted up. He was actually vomiting when my husband went to retrieve the key from the lockbox location. I'm happy he did it, because I wouldn't have felt safe ir comfortable reaching around him to get to the lockbox. Next, the interior entrance to the building smelled of urine so bad. Then we go into the unit, and appeared clean at a glance until my son noticed hairs on the pillow cases, so i lifted up...

"It felt like an elevated camp lodge experience rather than a hotel. Cozy rooms with all you need. No tv! Great shower and comfy bed , good restaurant for dinner and breakfast buffet( nicer than others we experienced). Such nice staff and beautiful views. Especially from the hot tub which was great to use before dinner."

"Overall, this was a nice place to stay, and I would consider staying here again. The listing was accurate. However, there were a few issues that future guests should be aware of, especially for the hefty price.First, there is no parking available and not even a designated loading zone. Guests should be prepared to carry their luggage several blocks, which can be inconvenient, especially when traveling with multiple bags or pets.I was also disappointed with the check-in experience. I had to stand around outside the building with all my luggage and my dog after I was told someone was supposed to let me in, and I was unable to get in touch with anyone.My other concern was the heavy use of Fabuloso cleaner throughout the property. The scent was extremely strong and lingered throughout my stay. It was so overpowering that I had difficulty sleeping, and I was concerned about its potential impact on my dog's respiratory system. Even after leaving, my clothes and luggage smelled of Fabuloso and needed to be washed multiple times.The place is very clean, which I appreciated, but it would’ve been a more pleasant experience if they used an unscented cleaner. Not everyone likes Fabuloso, and it’s not even a disinfectant. It’s really just perfumes and VOCs.One additional thing to note is that the area can be quite noisy at night. To be fair, this is not something the host can control, but light sleepers may want to bring earplugs or be prepared for some nighttime street noise."

"Fantastic location and great value for relaxation and fun in the NY/NJ area. Hoboken is so nice and pleasant it's almost weird. The flat is located within steps of a great bagel place (O'Bagel, truly excellent and busy), coffee (Jefferson's and Hidden Grounds), and restaurants (the ramen and poke places at 6th and Washington are both great for a quick meal, and Mario's around the corner should be enshrined as a national treasure.Flat has lots of room but it isn't fancy. Has everything you need though, plenty of fans and a working AC. Kitchen is fine but I don't think we even turned on the stove. Big fridge. Very safe-feeling neighborhood. If you walk fast it's 10 minutes to the train station, and if you're visiting please understand that PATH is super easy and you're in Manhattan in no time, either the WTC or the Village and up to midtown almost. And at night it's quiet, very much unlike Manhattan."
