A great stay

The condo is modern and beautifully furnished. The availability of the golf cart was terrific! We never used our cars. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and is a great beach. I recommend it highly.

Perfect townhouse @ Surf City!

We stayed in this great townhouse with my family and our two dogs. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and had great views of the marshes from the balconies. It is walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed the use of the golf cart to get around town to restaurants and the beach. The linens were also conveniently there when we arrived. Extra plus was that the home was dog friendly. Our host was available to answer any questions. The townhome was perfect for all our needs!

We thought we were getting….

We stayed for a week at this house and let’s just say, it was not luxury for the price. Outside of the location and the view. If you do not like stairs then this is not your place. The unit was dirty and the kitchen is not very functional. There is no kitchen table inside to eat a family meal, which made it tough to enjoy Topsail Steamers. The AC worked ok and the dryer has to be run at least 4 times to dry the clothes. The odor from the marsh is pungent which makes it tough to sit out on the two decks and cannot have dog go out back to go to the bathroom due to wildlife. The owners were responsive and did their best but the unit just does not live up to the cost when compared to other homes on the island. We highly suggest the golf cart which made the stay fun and great way to get around so you do not have to drive your car. Overall an ok spot but we felt the cost did not match what you get.

we had a great time. would recommend the golf cart it made a big difference. the accessories beach chairs and unbrella were very important. there are a lot of stairs and the toilets were old style very short. not great for seniors

Short Walk w/ Great Views!!

James was an amazing host. He was very responsive and kind! We loved the house - not too far from the beach. Adding the golf cart was a nice perk! We drove all over the island and enjoyed all the local eateries!

Repeat Stay

We love this home, location, and host so much that we have stayed twice now and have plans to return. The home has everything you need and very ideal for anyone visiting from out of state. The host has thought of everything, from bed and bath linens to beach necessities. Having the bath towels and sheets dropped off upon arrival takes so much stress out of packing. They have everything under the sun to make any beach day perfect; towels, toys, chairs, and even a shibumi which is now a beach day must. The golf cart?! We drove it to the beach, dinner, and to the shops. Having the beach cart you don't even have to worry about the daily pay to park. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, felt like being at home. The balcony provided beautiful scenic mornings and we even saw an alligator swimming out in the sound. James is very responsive to needs and area recommendations; very kind and accommodating. He really wants his guests to enjoy their stay and it shows. Highly recommend!

Excellent Stay!

This townhome was beautiful, clean and accommodated all of our needs. Very comfortable for the 6 of us that stayed, plus our dog. The owner, James, was extremely professional and super responsive to our needs. My advice - rent the golf cart! It was the highlight of our trip - so fun tootling around the island, and the island is very golf cart friendly. The only drawback was that the property is located on a busy street, but we stayed Labor Day weekend - extra traffic. Bonus - location was very accessible to shops, restaurants and short walk to the beach. Thanks James, we had a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful home, great location!

My wife and I found the home just as advertised. Beautiful place, everything we need and more! We immediately felt at home which made for a wonderful weeks vacation. The street it's on is busy, BUT, it's also so close to some of the main attractions. so well worth it. The golf cart is a MUST, was so fun to cruise to our local daily trips to the beach, the shops, and the restaurants. Communication during the trip was 5-start for sure. Will definitely be back!

Great time in Topsail

This place was great for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children - ages 2,6,8). Fantastic view of the sunset over the the marsh. The rental was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and there were many items there that we did not expect. Bathrooms and kitchen were well cleaned and again fully stocked. The garage had had extra chairs, bikes, beach toys which we also did not expect to find. Quick walk to the beach with smaller children. The owner and rental agency responded quickly to questions. Only negative (and really wouldn't have been a concern if it wasn't for our small kids) is that you're on a busy road (210). Great rental and would rent again (when the kids are older)!!!

Great place to stay!

The property is beautiful inside and out! Close enough to everything to walk but far enough from center of Surf City to have your own space on the beach. We enjoyed all of the “extras” that came with the house!
