"The room is a repurposed office, so the shape is a little unusual having a full window as the wall facing the road. This is covered by a curtain. If you need to sleep in total darkness, it may be a little uncomfortable. The curtain blocked the light enough for us to sleep comfortably though. The location gives great walking access to the castle and train station. There are trains and buses to different cultural attractions. There was a short fireworks show every evening from about 8:30 to 9 (in the beginning of August.) We had a great view from the walking bridge over the main road just a two minute walk from the apartment. The fireworks were set off far from the apartment, so it was not too loud. Local restaurants were not great, but there was a super market where we could pickup things for breakfast. The small refrigerator and microwave made it easy to keep and heat food without using the “kitchenette” which had a 500 yen extra fee for its use. Near the castle and other attractions, restaurants were very good. "

"I found this hotel to be the best in Japan. The staff was so nice and helpful. Great food on the spot, good price. Big bathz Very Very Hot water at all times. CAFE ON SITE!! Nice Japanese style viewing garden on site. Convince store a block away is the only thing near the hotel. The location is not good if you want to walk around and see sights, but taxi service cost us less than 1000 yen so $6.64 USD! I your going to be in Nagoya, this is a great hotel!"
