“It was a great,peacful place to stay”

“My rating is partially on my stay but more so the staff experience. Background: I have always wanted to visit this property. I am from the West Coast in California and it is a long journey to get there upon arrival. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. It is everything that I wanted in terms of a retreat and a place to really have a sense of peace. Unfortunately, there were two events that happened in rapid succession and I was not happy or enthused at all. Rather than go into the details of……

“Das Hotel macht einen guten Eindruck und es war stets sauber. Die Zimmer sind groß und die Betten bequem. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Wellness-Bereich ist bis 22 Uhr geöffnet, sodass man nach einem langen Tag dort noch etwas entspannen kann. Das Frühstück ist gut, jedoch gibt es leider nur Rührei aus der Tüte - das sollte bei einem 5-Sterne-Hotel nicht sein. “Super Unterkunft. Die Küche war super ausgestattet, für jedes Zimmer ein Fach im Kühlschrank sowie Besteck und Geschirr, 2 Herde, Mikrowelle und genügend Töpfe und Pfannen. Zimmer 6, das wir gebucht hatten, ist relativ klein und zur Straße, wir haben vor Ort in Zimmer 3 gewechselt, auch die 4, 7 und 8 sind zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfreich, uns wurden gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants gegeben. Frühstück war gut, immer frisches Obst ”

“Very nice "premium" property. Great amenities overlooking the water. Wonderful, attentive and interested staff. Breakfast was very good, but got booring after a few days. Some aspects of the room were a little tired and different (like the bathroom lighting was insufficient) but it was a very pleasant and spacious room. Bar drinks were priced more like NY than the Azores. Overall, a very pleasant stay. ”

“Excellent stay! The hotel was delightful as were the staff. We enjoyed yoga in the mornings, a great hot tub and then in the evening, after an awesome dinner, we sat by the open air fire pit. Breakfast was plentiful and great as well. What a fantastic stay! ”

“My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Excellent location in the heart of Ponta Delgado, walking distance to all the great restaurants. They handled our car rental for us, making it super easy (and getting us a great deal!). They have indoor parking available but it’s limited so request a spot early!
