"We enjoyed 3 days of recreation and relaxation by the lake. We took the kayaks out multiple times. It takes about 60-90 minutes to slowly paddle around the lake. There's a beaver's dam to visit, loads of lily pads/flowers, fish, turtles, and ducks. Less than 5 minutes away is a small park with a nice swimming area and hiking trails -- $2 admission per car. "Clean and spacious apartment, close to campus - just what I needed. Loved the purple bedroom! Some noise from street (it is right on Route 7) and downstairs tenants. Potential guests should know that it is an upstairs apartment at the top of a steep staircase. This was fine for me but if someone is mobility-challenged or has heavy luggage, it could be an issue for them."

"The property in is a very quiet place with beautiful views of the Battenkill River. There was plenty of room for our large dog to exercise. The owners were very professional and approachable. We did find kitchenware lacking in preparing our own food. The location was beautiful this time of year, but a bit out of the way as fair as restaurants and stores."

"Great experience staying at this apartment for 3 months in summer/fall of 2021. It’s very convenient to everything, walking distance to downtown and 30-45 minutes from more outdoor adventures than we could squeeze into 3 months. Duane is an attentive host and takes great care of the property. He made sure it was fully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home."
