“I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price. The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside.”

“Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. There was a glitch in the admin system which meant it thought I hadn't paid, paid again and then got to room, checked and went back to rectify and said it could take up to 6 days to refund. The room was boiling even though there was a fan in the room, they had no extra fans to help with the warmth which was nearly unbearable on day 1. The room was for 3 people but only set up for 2. You can see the effort they are putting into the hotel and they're……

“Great location. Lovely staff members. Spa treatments were amazing. Room was lovely but bear in mind if your staying top floor in summer there absolutely stifling and not pleasant to sleep in. The fans don’t do much really.”

“The room was very comfortable and clean. The corridors could have been cleaner as there were bottles and other rubbish from guests rooms on the windowsills. In the evening my room was near the back of the hotel and there was a very loud noise which sounded like a washing machine or tumble dryer being on. Fortunately, this noise stopped at around 10pm and then started again in the morning. Breakfast was nice although the staff started to clear away some of the options offered for the buffet……

“The spa and pool was love, we realkt enjoyed it, but we had no kettle in our room we walked to reception and asked for one, I offered to collect it and take it back but they saud no a member of staff will bring it , we never received it, so couldn't have any drinks in our room, room was clean but dated , but on the whole we enjoyed it, breakfast was great”
