Extremely comfortable, cosy, well-equipped, well-appointed and (for 2 friends) pleasantly spacious cottage, perfect for a winter getaway - though it would be just as lovely in summer. Loved the big comfy sofa, high-grade shower and well-heated downstairs loo! Thoughtful provision of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits much appreciated, as was the first night’s firewood and generous central heating sustained throughout our stay. Good to have reliable wifi, if no phone signal. We took a fire stick and Alexa so had our own music and catch-up tv/film library with us, which both worked fine, though there is a decent dvd collection and a humax providing multiple tv options (and maybe more if you play around with it). We made grateful use of the local info and walks provided. All in all, we just had a fantastic time, and wouldn’t hesitate to return there if the opportunity arose, or to recommend it to friends. We never got around to the tea shops or pub, but the local store was very well stocked. If I were going again I might take a second frying pan (there’s one no c’è but g one) and another small saucepan or two, to supplement those provided. Can’t think of anything else we lacked though!
