“There is no gym for hotel guests. Or that’s what I was told. Great and accommodating staff. Very comfortable ”

“When we arrived in our room it had a bad odor. While I do know this room was only $70 I did not expect there to be this many problems. The blinds did not wrap around the window so people in the parking lot could see you. The sheets were torn and we had to get new ones. The over head sprinkler was leaking and they had paper towel shoved in there to absorb the water. The shower head was leaking. And the shower curtain wasnt long enough so all the water was going out of the shower flooding the……

“Parking was easy and readily available. Bed was so comfortable. Beautiful property with so much history. Easy walk to other historical sights. My favorite is you get a breakfast voucher to take to a local coffee shop for breakfast. Enjoyed my time there. ”

“I have stayed 3x and enjoy the ground level rooms close to the creek behind the property. They are spacious with fireplace. Not sure about the rooms in the main lodge. I friend enjoyed her room in the main lodge. Toiletries are provided. Clean and comfortable room and bed. ”

“Room was large and well cleaned, it came with a sticked kitchenette. The hotel has a nice restaurant in site with outdoor seating overlooking the French Broad River. The hotel was like a museum for the original jail with information on display. The room we stayed in had several original features of the old jail.”

“The room is extremely small and the bed is also very small. I booked a king size bed and was given a double bed. My child could only sleep on the floor. No one came to change the bath towels in our room. The accommodation experience was extremely poor.”
