Televisión was not working, elevators were down, housekeeping services only if requested, had to walk down the stairs to exchange towels, no trash cans in the room.

The captain inn was going through renovations at the time. The hotel didn’t have working elevators and we were on 3rd floor and the inside of the hotel didn’t have air conditioning but only in the rooms. The TV was busted with a hole inside the screen. We booked two nights but only stayed one cause of the conditions of our room and the facility.

The mitel was cute enough. However, they are in the middle of a remodel. This means that there is no tv and no elevator. The pool was supposed to he open, and we were told over the phone it would be, when we got there they said it was closed for maintenance. It was so hot in the room, even with the ac blasting, it was unbearable. We didnt even stay the night. Oh, and there was no refund because youre supposed to cancel your stay 30 minutes after you check in for the refund. All in all it was a terrible experience, we wont be back.

It is under renovation so I do give a pass but it smelled very strongly of paint….. it’s definitely not done with most of the renovations even in the rooms they are renting out, as windows were taped up with paper and paint tape…. Bug/roach was in tub when I did a room walk around, and room didn’t look like it had been cleaned from previous guests as cup marks were on tables and handprints were all over room…… we left and didn’t stay the night but hopefully they can get it together location is cool and has potential….
