“The hotel interior is very tired and in need of a deep clean. And the furniture has seen better days. The bed had no headboard and oily hand prints could be seen on the wall where the headboard should be. The shower worked okay but the shower screen and bath sealant were dirty and worn. The carpets in the hall were very dirty and the door to our hotel room had obviously been prised open a few times in the past due to the damage visible around the door frame and lock. They must change the carpets because it was really dirty & full stains you require a bigger fans as the small fans are not useful, I was hoping that I would go to a hotel with Air condition & I was given a room on the 3rd floor & it was difficult to go up & down as I have arthritis on my left leg. The bedding must be changed as all my cloths were full of white bits of bedding there is slipper but they were used before hand. The room service was really……

So to find this fabulous property so close to my customer’s site was fantastic. Off street parking on the drive of the property means no hunting for a parking space. “We arrived at 6:30pm and were told there was not a room for us. The staff were unable to help and unwilling to provide more information on who owns the hotel. I strongly suspect the hotel does not comply with heath and safety rules. We received a refund from Expedia, but I would not have any confidence in receiving a refund directly from the hotel. Great location to walk to the promenade, friendly pub downstairs, and excellent soundproofing - didn't hear anything from our second floor room. Will happily book again if we're in the area”
