「We really enjoyed our weekend here. Quiet and secluded, but still very close to Grand Marais. A path just outside accesses a whole network of trails, we hiked to Pincushion Mountain. And the SHT connects here as well if you want to go further. The furnishings are simple in a very nice way; a folding table with two folding chairs, an electric kettle and a mini fridge are great for morning coffee or simple meals. The only thing we would have changed would be trading the two twin beds for a single...

「I don't have words for the tranquility I experienced sitting on the deck viewing The Big Lake in almost complete silence. This house is special. Off grid but elegant and everything you need at your fingertips. I was pleased to learn that I can still climb a ladder at 67. Wished I could have started longer, and will definitely come back.」
