"Beautiful 20-acre Maple Forest. One of the best rustic cabins I have ever stayed in and I have traveled this area for 35+ years. Location unbelievable, good directions and description, enjoyed the sauna, view through large windows in cabin breathtaking. Only change I would make to listing: bring ice or other means to refrigerate food. listing didn't indicate this. No bathroom, outhouse only. I think listing said there is half bath."

"The cabin is smaller, but offers plenty of space for a couple travelling to the area! It was clean and well-stocked. The views of the forest surrounding the cabin are beautiful, and the stars were amazing on a clear night. Hearing wolves in the distance from the comfort of the cabin was exciting. The sauna was great to use after a day of hiking and exploring downtown Grand Marais. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful long weekend in this cozy cabin tucked away in the woods, but still a quick drive to town and lots of great hiking trails. One day it rained, but we were happy to sit by the fire, play games, and watch the rain come down through the big windows. This was our second stay at this cabin and we’d come back again!"

"This is a wonderful cabin with a gas fireplace, big kitchen, comfortable beds, and a huge whirlpool tub to soak in after hiking or snowshoeing. There are many trails within walking distance for skiing, snowshoeing, or hiking. There is a big backyard and a trail that overlooks Poplar Creek. The host was very responsive and even suggested we come early to avoid arriving in a big snowstorm. We would definitely stay here again!"
