「Excellent!」

「We rented a room with 2 double beds. They were the smallest double beds I’ve ever come across. In the future, I’ll for sure go for a King sized bed! Location near a walking / biking trail is great! Also enjoyed the outdoor seating area overlooking the road.」

「The view was wonderful, and the staff was very helpful. There was a smoky odor in the room, either from the fireplaces in the other units or from the firepit outside. The floor plan of the bathroom in the third-floor room was odd. The open door blocked the sink. We had a little trouble figuring out the A/C controls, so the room was a little too warm. We greatly appreciated the free EV charging stations. They were never ICEd while we were there. We underestimated how tiring the 32 stair steps...

「We enjoyed our stay at the Cascade Lodge! We loved the close proximity to Lake Superior and their private shoreline! We also ate at the restaurant and it was great-food and staff friendliness! There was even live music on the night we were there.」

「The only complaint was the toilet was too low to the floor needs to be higher up. I’m an older lady. It’s hard to for me too sit almost on floor too go bathroom」

「Staff was great, our room didn’t have a remote so they had to bring us a new tv and the heat lamp in the bathroom wouldn’t shut off.. there was also beard hairs in the bathroom sink from previous guests and change lost in the bed so not sure how good the cleaners do. Overall, I would stay there again!」

「Property is dated but was perfect for what we needed it to be. We were really only using the room as a place to sleep, but it was clean. Hot water with good pressure in the shower. Mini fridge was small but existent. Bed was comfortable. TV was small but had a Roku connection for streaming services. Air conditioner was small and dated but worked. 「I feel at one time this was a very nice motel. However it has not been taken care of. The landscape and building has been neglected for many years. The Staff was hopeful and very pleasant. The place really needs some updates it’s sad because it could be such a beautiful place and the location with the nice deck that you can be right by the lake was great」

「Clean hotel right on the water! We enjoyed the popcorn maker in the lobby and coffee and tea in the morning. Friendly staff. Walkable to everywhere in town! Great spot!」
