10/10 Excellent
"The host was fabulous in providing all of the information we needed. The house was in a great location two minutes walk to the harbour, village and the great pub. It was exceptionally well equipped and spotless. Could not recommend the house more highly. "
"Very comfortable cottage in an idyllic, peaceful village, which was a great location for sightseeing and very handy for the pub! We played three links golf courses, which were friendly and challenging in breezy conditions. Thanks to the hosts for their kind hospitality. Everything was perfect for a relaxing break near the coast. We hope to return."
Rock Lobster - a family friendly that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms
8/10 Good
"A very well equipped and comfortable house in a quiet location overlooking the sea, literally just off the coastal path. The house and the large surrounding garden, with plenty of parking, easily accommodated our family with lots of space and all necessary facilities. The only issue is that EV charging is not allowed at the property which seems ‘penny pinching’ for such a modern and high priced/high spec. property. (Craster does, in theory, have a public charger but due to non-existent mobile coverage it is very unreliable.) Craster itself is lovely and tranquil. It is well placed to explore the Northumberland Coast and environs. Nearby Alnwick has lots to see and do, as well as all the more day to day shops and services."
"Beautiful property, clean and immaculate with more essentials than we needed!. Lots of space for us all and plenty of bedrooms. Lovely garden and view of the distant sea.Downstairs shower tray may need some attention as not draining away very well.....otherwise all excellent!"
