"This home is among the rare finds for short stays. It is such a beautiful home with upgraded amenities to include a hot tub and sauna. It is well organized to make staying in an unfamiliar place much easier. It has several areas for people to gather and be together including an out door patio, and fire pit area. The area is so picturesque it’s hard to beat."

"We loved this place! The view of the water and mountains was breathtaking. We sat on the deck around the fire pit and ate our freshly caught Halibut cooked on the grill. I recommend the local oysters too. It was so relaxing. There was plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. The kitchen was very functional with everything we needed. We wished we had more time to relax and enjoy this beautiful property. There were eagles nesting nearby, ring necked pheasants and we could see harbor seals with the binoculars. So fun."

"We greatly preferred this to staying in a hotel! It has everything you need! Clean - like new! We would stay here again - great value! It’s on the east end of town, so you do need to drive into town - but we prefer that -away from the crowds. Not the place if you want to be able to walk everywhere. There is an easy shortcut to the Spit! It literally has a Glacier view! Our one complaint was related to only two seats and a small table for meal time (There were 3 of us - so we just brought in a chair from outside and moved the table not a big deal - but we just like sitting around a table for meal banter) Charlie (14) rated this a “6!” - He found his spot on the sofa - for us older folks (late 60’s) the low sofa took some extra energy to get out of 😃. Note: “Wild Honey” Restaurant for crepes -both sweet and savory is a winner! “Swell Tacos” on the spit - great flavor combinations! Be prepared for higher grocery store prices!"

"Overall, it was a great stay. Hosts were excellent. Cabin was quite dated. The kitchen needed to be more stocked as far as cookware. Needed some comfortable outside furniture for the deck outside chairs for the fireplace would be nice quick check-in and out just far enough out of town that it felt secluded we did see a moose one morning in the yard. Cabin needed updating. I would recommend this stay."
