“Towels are so old and dirty in the room. However, the breakfast is so surprised for us, we love it.”

“Nice hotel in a beautiful area, staff were polite but not very friendly. I did feel that I was being ripped off as the prices were top end and the quality wasn’t. DO NOT ask for a taxi, they organised a cab from central Reading that charged £40 for a 2 mile 10 minute journey at 3:30 in the afternoon!! Totally shocked at this.”

“The worst service. Location is a 30 minute walk away from High Street. Amenities were slim and poorly maintained. The restaurant is highly priced for food, coffee and beverages that aren't close to being freshly made. Some of the breakfast items were microwaved packages food, yet the cost was premium. Wi-fi is spotty around the grounds. Staff is truly unhelpful in every regard and will not go out of their way to assist you during your stay. There were many times that we asked for basic things,……

“Breakfast was good, staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean. The grounds are lovely with flowers, fountains trees and lots of places to sit outside. Free coffee and tea available all day. Thames river walks nearby. I’d definitely stay again ”

“Comfortable and well decorated room. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with a freshly cooked hot option plus a very tempting array of pastries, freshly prepared fruit, cereals and yoghurt with healthy toppings plus cheese and meats if you fancied. The food in the restaurant was also very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.”

“The bar staff were extremely helpful and were able to create a variety of cocktails. Unfortunately, the restaurant had run out of Merlot and there was none in the entire building. The restaurant was empty for dinner but we were sat under the coldest ”

“The room is clean. The location is convenient. The staffs are friendly. It gave me a very good experience during this Christmas/New Year period.”

“This was a last minute booking as our flight cancellation and subsequent delays led to us missing a connecting flight and needing to stay overnight. We arrived after midnight and left at 6:30 so can’t really review much. Only gripe was that unless you have a Hilton membership of some type the initial bottled water in the room cost £2.75 instead of being complementary.”
