「Quiet, spaceous room which was very clean. The pub served delicious food and there is a fabulous little cafe next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back when visiting family again. Exceptional value for money with a good breakfast included. Only slight niggle is that the pillows were thin and not supportive. One is not enough and two is too much. Perhaps they could invest in firmer support pillows and the score for this hidden gem would be 10/10.」

「The property was ideal for our needs and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the booking experience through Expedia was abysmal. We were told the property was unavailable, which was untrue. We were offered an alternative of a 3-bed property which supposedly had 6 double beds. Photos on the Expedia website show this is also untrue.」

「On the whole this was a really comfortable stay in a very practical apartment and a great location. The only issue I had is that there was a tiny amount of toilet paper provided and no washing up liquid at all, and I rang the out of hours Service and left two messages, no one responded to me and they still haven’t responded to me after my trip! Nonetheless, I would recommend this place to stay and I would stay again.」

「A good old country pub. 」

「Adorable and quirky little house, oozing with character. Comfy beds, great location for local shops and restaurants, and as a base to explore the area. Only slight negative for us was getting used to town noises as we live in a village. The Combat Collection at Cobatton, and Instow beach (both recommended by the host) are worth a visit, and my boys (16 & 14) loved outdoor laser tag at Survival Combat Games.」

「One night business stay , clean compact, ideal as it’s in centre of town , ideal for food, all with walking distance etc, there is a car park in front of hotel very near, but has time restrictions, didn’t bother me as I was out before 8am For me breakfast was to late, but the landlady made me a take out as I wanted to be out earlier than they start breakfast , thank you 」
