"Staff was very helpful getting to and from the nearest train station. The hotel, onsen, and rooms are very well maintained. The breakfast is fantastic with a great view."

"Great location, friendly staff, beautiful property, very good breakfast and excellent nightly rate. Booked a second night minutes after checking in. Easy beach access and loved enjoying a drink on the balcony watching the sun set. Looking forward to staying again the next time I’m in the area."

"Fantastic traditional feel onsen hotel, with both public and private onsen baths, comfortable western rooms, public spaces and amenities (robes, refreshments, late night complimentary ramen, etc. Near scenic river run , quaint shops and restaurants, shrines, temples and bamboo groves, all within walking distance. Amazing breakfast buffet, well worth the upgrade."

"Excellent stay, the private onsen was fabulous, everything was provided for, the hotel staff are very friendly, can highly recommend for anyone wanting to use an onsen but perhaps too shy to use a public one."
Izu Marriott Hotel Shuzenji

"We saw Mount Fuji early in the morning and it was breathtaking! Breakfast overlooking the forest behind the property was delicious and so beautiful. The onsen in our room was wonderful! Hotel staff were so welcoming and helpful! The shuttle bus from the station to the hotel made getting around Shuzenji accessible."

Inatori Toukai Hotel Yuen

"Great setup and nice room spaces. The room we were assigned was worn and while the rook was clean the shower room was dirty and moldy through the grouping. It a 3 night stay along the peninsula this was the most expensive day but this property was not the best of the three (so competitively inferior to its peers)."
