"The property was an oasis in a high traffic area in Pompano Beach. The property was lovely with a pool and several outside comfortable seating areas. We enjoyed sitting outside and just watching what was going on. The laundry was easy to use and a bonus. Our room was clean with all amenities as described. We never met any staff in person, but the folks we dealt with on the phone via calls and texts were timely and helpful."

"This hotel is disgusting its dirty roaches, bed bugs dirty floors dirty linen prostitution in their rooms people in and out all night with prostitutes. I had three children with me ages 4/5 and left the next day due to horrible conditions. i contacted the building manager and explained the conditions, and they told me to contact Expedia for my refund for the days i was not there 3 nights they denied my refund and i cannot get in contact with anyone Expedia did nothing about the deplorable conditions of the hotel but its a motel and not a resort do not book this motel its is nasty "

"Sands Harbor is a hidden gem in Pompano Beach. It’s certainly not the newest or priciest hotel but it had a personality all its own. Really impressed with their decor and vibe. Will certainly visit again!"

"This apartment was super clean, full size kitchen with all the cooking supplies you need, perfect location to the beach, restaurants etc...nice pool, laundry room just make sure you have quarters. They provide beach chairs, beach towels and umbrellas. Perfect place to stay I will definitely stay here again"

"Let’s start with the positives. The property is located in a good location close to the beach, has nice pool area, accessible parking, and decent kitchen to make morning basics. Additionally the communication between the “host” and I was good. Checking in was also fairly seamless. Unfortunately my stay (which was scheduled for 10 nights) was very disappointing. I made sure to document (pictures) and keep the messages between host and I to reference and add validity to this review. I arrived very late and did a walk-through first thing in the morning after waking up. Almost immediately the disappointment and concern set it but tried to remain positive. From a lose bathroom mirror feeling like it was not securely mounted to the wall, to an overall outdated (truly not renovated) property. Unfortunately, after about six days of being there, I still had not received any fresh linen, no fresh towels. If it was something that needed to be requested, it should be clearly advertised. The cable and Wi-Fi were terrible and I had to sit outside to conduct work on my laptop or phone, which offered no privacy. Most notably was the condition of the carpet and floor which were dirty and sticky in many areas, and the multilevel bathroom where I tripped several times making it a bit of a hazard. The pictures online certainly don’t reflect what you walk into. Lastly, I will say that several individuals from property management have reached out to me after my stay and offered apologies. "
