Nice property in a nice location, The views from the kitchen and living room across the river Garry

Nice property in a nice location, The views from the kitchen and living room across the river Garry are beautiful and regularly saw deer near the property, however the property requires some TLC , the flush in the downstairs toilet would stick on occasion so would keep water flowing in to the bowl as the cistern would not fill. The numbers on the control buttons on the cooker have mostly rubbed off so setting the temperature was guesswork. The kitchen window is in need of replacement / repair as the frame is rotten inside and out.In the bathroom the shower try appears cracked.There is wall paper comming away in the lounge, possibly due to a leaking roof in the past.Could not appear to get the lounge heater to work.There were roadworks on the one road in, which meant I had to be out before 8.30am on weekdays, or wait for the lunch hour, and then couldn't return before 5.30pm. The property owners had been informed of this well in advance and as I only booked this property a short time ago, should have been adivsed prior to booking the property which would have swayed me from booking the property due to this restiction.Apart from that, would stay here again.

Lovely cottage great location for hikers walkers which we are not never ending roads lots of time to get anywhere ehjoyed our Christmas break lovely wood burner easy to light got to hot at times very good with kitchen equipment only draw back not alot of wifi especially for the boys would hifhly recommend fort Augustus great boat tour
