Had the most fantastic time here! Needed to cancel the reservation I had already made somewhere else, so I made this one barely a week before I needed to stay. I chose it from the slim options available at the time, but I 100% will stay here again. The room was clean, nice, had a great view and I had a blast having dinner downstairs.

This place operates more like an Airbnb in that, other than housekeeping, there really isn’t hotel staff on-site—but it all worked out great for us!
The rooms are located above the restaurant/bar, which is such a sweet spot with great food and rocking entertainment! The stairs up to the rooms can be a bit of a challenge with luggage, but a kind bartender was happy to help us out.
Our room was comfortable and clean, and we slept like babies! We were pleasantly surprised that the noise from downstairs wasn’t bad at all, and things didn’t go too late.
We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Lovely room, wonderful bed, luxury towels and great shower. However, the music from the pub underneath was extremely loud, including even the room trembling from how loud it was. Would not have wanted to stay more than one night.
We ate dinner in the pub and it was subpar quality at best (and clearly using a microwave to warm food up).

First, it was lots of fun staying there! We had a top floor room with the headroom being a little challenging around the perimeter. The place was clean and comfortable with a very good bed and a spacious bathroom. The live music downstairs was a real treat!
The location is very central in the old town and we walked everywhere the Inverness get on/off tour bus goes. There’s no on site parking, we used the nearby parking garage next to the bus terminal and library and just walked everywhere.

Hootananny is a magical, must-see spot in Inverness, and if you love live music there's no better place to stay. We were there on a Thursday night and the music played late. The room was clean and stylish, the shower pressure was strong, and the bed was comfortable. Even with the music downstairs, I slept like a rock. Highly recommend this place!

This was by far the most special place we stayed in Scotland! Our room was decorated beautifully and had so many extra perks, including the best in room coffee!
Our room was located right above the stage and we never heard the music at all.
The food and entertainment was top notch!
Thanks to Nick , Doreen and Sweet Baily!
