The home was lovely in a lovely neighborhood but when we arrived at our appointed date and well past check in time the owners things were scattered in the home clearly not expecting us. He was mistaken on the dates but quickly returned home to gather his belongings. The home was not completely ready to be rented. We respectfully brought this to his attention but he said we could pay for it to be cleaned and his last 8 families didn't complain. We were very careful with everything and treated it like our own, spending time cleaning far more than you need to do on vacation.I ended up hand washing the dishes he left in the sink. The floors were very dirty as were all the counters and all the rugs. We bought vinegar and a mop and mopped the wood floors. We used lysol wipes to clean the tile bathroom floors, the counters and the very dusty baseboards . We removed the bath room rugs from the bathrooms as a vacuum could not get out the dirt, nor could shaking them out, they were covered with hair and just ick.y and they needed to be cleaned professionally. The Jack and Jill toilet did not function at all the entire time. We stripped the beds, washed the sheets and towels, did the dishes and cleaned the floors....for this he keeps our deposit!!

Wonderful stay. Eric is a great host. Beautiful, spacious home in a great neighborhood close to Lake Murray and Downtown Columbia. Highly recommend!

Son's USC Graduation

The house was perfect for our Son's College Graduation. It was comfortable, clean and spacious. Only downfall was that it was a bit further from Downtown then we thought. Would recommend in a heartbeat. Eric was very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions or concerns.
