"Perfect location.next to shinjuku train station.travel point to move around tokyo. It was our.2nd stay in this hotel.we had no issues of any type at all. highly recommend it."

"My husband and I came here for a honeymoon, and we loved it. Just know that the rooms are small but the hotel is right multiple train stations! You can use it to transfer to the major lines like Yamanote. They have unlimited amenities at the lobby to enjoy like cleansing oils and face masks. We especially loved the hotel buffet breakfast, my husband and I would enjoy our lattes before a long day. A big American/Japanese continental breakfast with delish iced coffee/espresso selection. The staff were so adorable and sweet. Overall we had a beautiful trip, we would definitely come back and recommend it to any couples. To families, just get a bigger room. Very clean rooms and hotel in general- 10/10!"

Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Ikebukuro

"We stayed here from June 24- Jul 7. The staff was great. They were all very friendly and helpful. I utilized the bell captain desk to make the limousine bus reservation and the concierge to make reservations for restaurants around Tokyo and they were both excellent. The only encounter I felt a little off putting was from the male receptionist who checked me in. He was not rude, maybe he was tired? Our room was as expected. Housekeeping did a great job. No complaints there. We got fresh towels and our amenities were stocked daily. The water pressure in the shower was very good. The coin laundry service was also great. The laundry room was well kept and very clean. It was very convenient to have that service connected to our TV in our room so we can watch in real time which machines were available and how much time was left on them. So convenient. We also utilized the restaurant on the main floor for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although the service was great, we only ate breakfast twice there (thank goodness we didn't pay for the entirety of our stay) since it was the same foods daily. It was a buffet set up but two days in a row of the same choices was enough for us. We instead ate at several coffee shops near the hotel. We chose a la carte for dinner and was not disappointed. They had a wonderful steak set. The hotel is conveniently located across from the Ikebukuro station which houses Lumine and Tobu department stores. It is a safe location"

"Rooms are nice and clean and quiet. Check in was fairly busy and chaotic. Location has a lot of stripper type places but also places to eat and gambling is big at this location. Seems like 15 mins to harajuku and team labs and shibuyu crossing give or take...godzilla head not accessible and no reason given. No breakfast or buffet just a sizzler on site which is hilarious to see."
