「Staff were very helpful and the property was good for what we needed. First morning breakfast was quite good but didn’t have the same items the next 2 mornings. Certain items weren’t replenished after they ran out. So you might want to get to breakfast early.」

「The staff was wonderful, the room was spotless, and we slept comfortably. We really appreciated the late checkout after my husband's hospital procedure. Thank you for going above and beyond.」

「Room was clean! Bath tub didn't drain for awhile after shower. Had nice air conditioning. Breakfast was only 6-9am. After that you couldn't even have coffee or hot water. Microwave plate was wrong size so really couldn't use it.」

「Not a fault of the business but they were in process of painting/renovating and the paint smell was just all over the room. Not sure if the room was freshly painted but unable to get a good nights rest because of the paint smell. Pool was not available for use. Also maybe there was a late check in but the floors seem to be incredibly thin. For like 10 min, the guests who checked in, above my room was pretty loud dropping luggage and heavily walking getting settled. Again that was not the fault...

「My book club (all 50) rented Grandpa's Pool House and had a ball. We did all things 70s and the house was a great fit for our tator tot hotdish meals, shrinky dink crafts and Sloe Gin Fizz drinks. We had a couple hiccups with our stay, and the host and property manager responded immediately and made everything right. 」

「Sanctuary at Rum River was perfect for our large family get-together. All of the house was clean. Beds were very comfortable (even the bunk beds) bathrooms were well appointed. Kitchen was GREAT...nice to have everything labeled on the cabinets, and have plenty of dishware, glasses, coffee cups, and silverware. Good assortment of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. Awesome to have the washer and dryer available. Theatre room in the basement was a great bonus. As well as having the garage...

「We had a great time with my wife and two young kids. Norbert took us out on his boat for 4th of July and was an absolute blast staying here. Nice lake. Big, well maintained yard. Very clean place and excellent host. Very close to a decent restaurant and loved its proximity to the Twin Cities while still feeling like we were “up north”. Would recommend! 」

「Place seemed like a work in progress instead of a finished vacation rental. No pathway lights by the sidewalk/steps leading down the house to light your path, had to use my cell phone flashlight to see where I was walking at night. Our bedroom door would not open or close without pulling so hard on it, and it made such a loud noise when you did that it would wake everyone up if you opened it at night. There was 1 kitchen towel, no hand towels for the bathroom, no rug for the entry door to...
