“We really enjoyed staying at La Rotonda sul Mare. It was the perfect location for our vacation. Amerigo and his staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was delicious and well served. The sun deck over the water was perfect to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. We would love to stay there again.”

“Such a beautiful, relaxing place, in an amazing setting. The gardens are fabulous, not just the cactus garden but all the different fruits and flowers, with peacocks wandering around, it was magical. There is a lovely cafe/restaurant, only downside it wasnt open every day for dinner but that wasnt a problem for us, as there are eateries within walking distance or a short bus ride away. The staff were lovely and very special and we had the most amazing massage. We cannot speak highly enough of……

“Amerigo and his family were so extremely welcoming to me, and made me feel at home. Amerigo even picked me up when I was lost finding the hotel, and drove me to the ferry when I left. They made me feel very safe and welcome as a solo female traveler. The sea balcony was beautiful, and you can have your breakfast on the water. Walkable to the town centre, with a beach on the way. I will definitely return when I get a chance to come back to Forio. ”

“Hard to find hotel, but I think we are seniors, we are not savy with Google map, someone young would find it easy. Ana and her friend who mend the place are super friendly.They switch my room to the ground level floor because I have problem with stairs. The room is cleaned , bed made every 2 days, even though I don’t need it. The rooms on ground floor are more spacious than the room that we occupy on 1st floor”

“Villa Lieta was great! Apt very clean. Daily maid service. Breakfast each morning is wonderful and served on rooftop with beautiful view. Anna (owner) is so nice and helpful and provides any information about the island, ferries, etc. Nice restaurants in streets below. Castle provides iconic view from terrace. Will definitely stay here again! ”
