The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The environment of Tarpon Point is very wholesome and laid back. A beautiful spot to spend special time with family.
This home is in a great location and is exceptional. The balconies provide unobstructed views of the ocean an offer nice cover from the sun while permitting breezes to flow. Overall quality of the home is exceptional. We definitely plan to return.
My husband and I ended up staying in the property by ourselves. It is a beautiful property. Lovely ocean views. We had planned to have our daughter and her family with us but they all got the flu and had to cancel their trip! Regardless, it was wonderful having the property.
We enjoyed every minute of our first visit to the Keys. The home was beautiful. And, the owner was quick to respond not just to questions about the property but also to questions about the area. The only downside to this trip is that it had to end.

Nice house and great location. Furnishing not great. One bed in each bedroom and only one was a king. Kitchen furnishings substandard! If you want to watch TV bring your rocu. Views are outstanding and hvac is awesome. Place is we’ll built and has nice appliances.
We spent Spring Break at Marlin House and had a fabulous stay. The home is beatific and the views cannot be beat. Gorgeous grounds and pool. The only problem we had was the inability to steam tv easily. We don’t typically need tv on vacation, but it was the Final Foir and Master’s Tournament week and the TV’s are too old to accommodate most modern streaming services and cable is not provided. We had an HVAC problem and it was hot, but the property manager communicated well with us and found a solution after a few days. Overall, would stay again based on the views/location/pool alone. Waking up to that ocean view was priceless and so relaxing!
What a beautiful home! My family and I spent Thanksgiving week here as a last-minute change of plans. The house is absolutely spectacular- incredibly well built, the views are outstanding, and it was extremely clean and tidy. There was really only one thing I think could be improved upon: the kitchen was very poorly outfitted with cooking equipment. It has the most incredible appliances (viking/wolf etc.), but basic utensils are nowhere to be seen. The pots and pans could certainly use an upgrade, there were no baking dishes, and there were no chef's knives to name a few. People rent homes for more space, privacy, and so that they can cook meals- for a kitchen as beautifully built as this, I would have liked a lot more equipment. Otherwise, it's a beautiful home, perfect for a getaway in the Keys!
The house was perfect for our families. Location and amenities were awesome! The only thing I could suggest is to make a cooler available. We had a fabulous time
Most lovely, well appointed VRBO we have every stayed in. Do not hesitate to stay at this home.
You will not be disappointed in the property. We booked a 22’ boat & kayaks at Robbie’s across the street . Also ate THE best grouper sandwich of my life at Robbie’s.
The only problem we encountered was securing the key from the management company. We were traveling from Key West to Islamorada. The management company requires you physically pick up a key at their office, this would have been 1.5 hours out of our way after traveling 20.5 hours. Physical keys are a bit antiquated, a coded key pad would be more efficient and convenient for guests.
Keys were the only issue, Ken our contact with the management company was most attentive.

We are very familiar with the Islamorada area, and chose this property due to the location and home amenities/quality. This house delivered on it all! The fit & finish was top-shelf, safe and impeccably clean. The views were amazing with natural bird life abound. Finally, Ken was tremendous to deal with, extremely communicate and professional. We will be back!
This was a beautiful home with all the needed amenities. We highly recommend it for any size family both big and small. The view was simply stunning. We had a wonderful time.
Easy booking and good communication before our stay. Unit is just as described and was very comfortable for our group of 6. Beautiful kitchen gave us an alternative to eating out every night which can get pretty expensive. Bedrooms are all spacious and have their own baths which we always prefer. Nice living area for gatherings. Would have liked cards or games available but made due with the one I brought most nights. Mornings are the star here with magnificent sunrises just about every day.
Love the Keys!
My family and I had a wonderful week in this beautiful home. The location was great and the house was amazing. The attention to detail was excellent. We found the people in Islamorada to be warm and friendly. This was our first trip to the keys but it definitely won’t be our last!
Our stay was great. House was wonderful. Great location , wonderful views. I would definitely go back. House was pretty clean but not cleaned or disinfected well at all. worried when we saw that the kitchen counters, fridge and area where garbage is kept was dirty. All of the handles on the appliances were dirty. But the kitchen is really great. House is amazing. The floors and carpets had not been vacuumed either. I cleaned up and had brought my own sheets anyway. I did not bother calling the property manager. We probably should have. The coffee makers are very dirty but not old. The drip coffee maker has significant mold in it. I tried to clean and run water thru the keurig multiple times and it was very dirty. We did not use it. But overall, the house was really wonderful and we had a great week. The beach area is definitely not a beach, lots of seaweed. So if you are looking for any kind of beach this is not it. We enjoyed fishing from the pier and the pool was quiet and clean. We kayaked just outside the house. It was great. I recommend water shoes. Really a pleasure.
We wanted a special place to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family and friends. Marlin House was perfect! The bedrooms are bright, the living areas comfortable. But the balconies are where we lived! A brisk ocean breeze kept us cool from morning coffee to evening wine. We watched osprey eating fish on the mangroves below our unit and our granddaughters learning to fish on the dock. They loved a brief visit with a couple hermit crabs. The Ocean is the star here, but beautiful Marlin House and the well manicured grounds provided a perfect background.
