In a very secluded and magical location, Beach Bay Cottage and the surrounding area is a paradise for artists, photographers and bird-watchers. There are many outdoor activities nearby, such as hill walking, surfing, kite surfing, fishing (Apr-Oct, licence required), golf, wildlife watching, boat trips (including to the World Heritage Site of St Kilda), diving, sea kayaking and cycling.
