「What a phenomenal stay—more than I could’ve ever hoped for given the short notice to book and the impromptu nature of our stay. One side facing Castle Rushen and the other facing the ocean, I’m still blown away we got to stay here for a few days.」

「Hotel is in a very central location with a bus stop right outside and train within walking distance.
The staff and other locals we met were very welcoming and the food that we sampled during our stay was of a high standard. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds.
Having the transport options close by enabled us to visit the various places we wanted to go to.」

「The location was beautiful on the sea front and near the electric train. We rented a car for one day and we were easily able to find parking in front of the building. We didn’t eat breakfast at King’s House as we were busy in the mornings. We got fresh towels each day and a fresh supply of cookies and tea. The staff were eager to help with whatever you needed.」

「Property looks run-down with damaged wall and worn carpets. Old fashioned shower needed fiddling to balance from taps.
Breakfast - good selection and reasonable value. Charged extra.
Bed comfortable.
Would rate barely as three star.」
