Fabulous property
We loved this property. It had everything you needed. It was comfortable and homely and the location was superb. The owner was very welcoming and very helpful. When I come back to Skye would definitely stay here.

Lovely large property for family stay
We had a super stay at Ardmore cottage. The 3 bed property was much larger than expected, was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for self catering stay. Broadford is a great base for exploring Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh and we would happily stay at Ardmore again.

Fantastic three day stay
Fantastic three day stay. Everything we needed and more. The rooms are extremely spacious and well equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean and easily accessible. Location is great. We managed to explore the island and found local eateries and shops to be very handy. A perfect stay!!!

Lovely stay
We so enjoyed our stay at Ardmore house. Ian is a delightful host and very responsive if needed. Ardmore is spacious, comfortable, warm in winter and equipped with everything you would need. The location is convenient for a base from which to explore Skye and the views from the house are most welcome.

Amazing Host and Home
This was the perfect stay on the isle of Skye and the host Ian was amazing. His home has tons of room, all conveniences is perfectly situated for day trips on both the Isle on the rest of the western Highlands. Ian was so helpful especially when we got into a bit of car trouble, he kindly assisted throughout. We definitely too anyone journeying to the Western Highlands.

Fantastic place to stay
An early Christmas surprise for our mum and dad made even more special as house was so homely. So much that my dad didn't want to leave. Every aspect of house was well designed, an excellent kitchen with all the essentials, beautiful bathrooms and luxurious bedrooms. Cozy and warm throughout and was perfect for our elderly parents. Perfect Holiday Home

Amazing & Unforgettable
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ardmore. It was beautiful and really made our holiday extra special. It was extremely clean, welcoming and very spacious. We were touched by the welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit which was greatly appreciated after our long journey. It’s in a perfect location for exploring the picturesque Isle of Skye with places to eat nearby as well as a very convenient supermarket and petrol station. Everything had been thought of and we felt totally at home, so much so, we did not want to leave. It has set the bar high for any future accommodation booked elsewhere. We hope to return again one day. Thank you Ian and Anne for such perfect accommodation.

Great Location
Ardmore is located in the perfect position on Skye. It is quiet but close to all the necessary ameneties which are needed for a holiday. Lots of lovely walks nearby, and the cottage is very comfortable to relax in after a long day in the country side.

Great Location for exploring Skye and boating
The property is a credit to the owner, we had a great time. Milk, sugar coffee, tea, and a bag of ice etc waiting for us on arrival, also a lovely basket of fresh fruit, we cannot fault the property. Ample parking and a quality outdoor hose pipe was great for hosing my Rib down after a trip out to sea. We met Ian the owner who was lovely.

Fabulous cottage, Very helpful owner, perfect location
Ardmore is simply a stunning property, it has absolutely everything you need, it is spacious, classy and warm... even in mid February, the views from the cottage are breathtaking. It is in a great location, quiet but near enough to walk to restaurants and a perfect base for exploring the island. The owner Ian was welcoming and friendly, he went out of his way to come and help us.. even in the pouring rain! He regaled us with a couple of funny stories and recommendations for restaurants and local walks. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Great place for a Christmas break
We stayed for 7-days over Christmas 2021 and had a wonderful time. A beautifully presented property in an ideal location for touring. Everything was spot-on, just as listed, couldn't fault it. Very warm and cosy especially considering it was winter. The Christmas tree and decorations were a really nice touch and much appreciated. The Isle of Skye was stunning as expected - we were quite surprised just how quiet the roads were as we thought there would be more tourists (like us!) having Christmas breaks there. We would highly recommend Ard More to anyone.

From when we arrived until when we left we can't praise Ardmore enough. Ian kept in touch by e-mail and when we asked about something he answered by return. Ardmore was clean, well appointed and cosy, which we appreciated because the weather was not good.

Stunning property
Absolutely loved our stay here. Every room in this house is beautiful, extremely comfortable beds, great shower and bathtub. Outside seating and bbq was fabulous and great we had a few days of sunshine. Views from each room are spectacular. Easy waking to supermarket, bars, restaurants. Beautiful walks and easy drive to all the hot spots in Skye. Loved it. Don’t miss booking this, you won’t be disappointed.

Serene views, spacious and beautiful house - couldn't ask for more!
2020 has been a crazy year, so the family and I just wanted to "get away" from it all, and most of all find time to relax . At Ardmore, we did just that. Great location, beautiful views to wake up to, a spacious house which accommodated all 6 of us comfortably. The Xmas decorations were a special touch by the owner Ian made our stay even more special! A local supermarket less than 5mins away was very convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to get away from life's hustle and bustle and find time to unwind and relax. Thanks Ian and Anne for making our stay perfect in every way.

On arriving at Ardmore, and entering the cottage, we were totally blown away with how luxurious it was. The furnishings and fittings are of a very high quality and standard. It is so spacious and beautifully laid out. It is such a peaceful setting there, and with the handiness of being walking distance to the excellent amenities within Broadford. It has a large supermarket and also a smaller store with a Post Office, and some other specialist/gift shops. The views from the cottage windows are lovely, and you are so very comfortable there. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and will return next year. Locally, there are a couple of excellent places to eat out. A lovely cafe (Deli Gasta) set within an old mill, about ten minutes walk (it also has a car park onsite) with very friendly staff and a nice range of food for breakfast, lunch or even just coffee and cake etc. Also, the best restaurant in the town, is only five minutes walk away from Ardmore. It’s called The Claymore, mainly specialising in fish/seafood, although it does other excellent dishes too. It appears to just open for dinner from 4pm each evening. Lovely atmosphere/decor, and very friendly efficient staff. By far the best place for dinner in Broadford, for Scottish produce, cooked traditionally and presented very nicely. There are lots of lovely parts of Skye to explore, or even just stayIng at Ardmore, relaxing and enjoying the calm tranquility. We were lucky to meet the owner, Ian, who popped in for a quick chat. It is clear how much pride he takes in ensuring Ardmore provides the clients with an experience that exceeds all expectations. The cottage was spotlessly clean, with a range of sanitisers and cleaning products there to ensure Covid compliance. The photos do not do it justice at all. A real home from home. We can’t wait to return!

I wish every rental property would be like this one. It surpassed our expectations. Quite often when we have stayed in holiday rentals they never matched up to their advertised descriptions and photographs never represent the true, up to date quality of the property. Credit goes out to Ian and Ann who market this property as it actual is , and more. It’s the little thing that make a difference, like fresh fruit, milk and butter in the fridge. The weather on Skye was not the best but the accomodation made up for that. It was comforting to know that after a wild day exploring the island a warm, homely cottage was waiting to relax in. Highly recommend.

Christmas at Ardmore
We had a wonderfully festive Christmas at Ardmore, Ian and Anne had made the house Christmassy and cosy for us. There we five of us staying and there was plenty of room, it was well equipped and had everything we needed. It’s in a great spot just a five minute walk away from a co-op and lots of lovely cafes and restaurants in the town of Broadford. Great views of the Cullin mountains, lots of walks and in a great position to explore the rest of Skye. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back to explore.

This house was very nice and clean. It had everything that we needed. Very close to restaurant and grocery store. Beautiful views from windows. I wished we could have stayed longer. Washer and dryer worked great. The owners communication was excellent. He responded very quickly with my questions before and after I booked. All rooms had TV's and wifi worked very well. I would definitely recommend this home.

Can only re-iterate previous reviews. Ardmore is first class. Spacious and well appointed, I think you really would struggle to find something better. We had a great week with lots of late October sunshine. Skye has loads to see and do and it was great to return to the warmth of such an exceptional bungalow after the days activities

Wonderful location and accommodation
My party and I (4 Adults) stayed at Ardmore 12th - 19th October 2019. The bungalow surpassed the photos on the booking site. It was very spacious, very clean, full of all the equipment you may require during your stay, and the location was ideal. The views for both the front and back of the property were spectacular. We had very good weather which allowed us to tour the island and enjoyed our day at Elgol, including a boat trip, a visit to Armadale Castle and the Sleat Peninsular. and a day at Portree. It made our first trip to Skye very memorable and enjoyable. I would have no reservations about recommennding Ardmore as a 5 star accommodation and would like to express out thanks to Ian and his wife for their hospitality

We spent a week here on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Ardmore is perfectly located to explore the surrounding area and within easy reach of Skye bridge if you want to travel to mainland Scotland. There are local shops nearby. The co op is great as is the local fish and chip shop. Ardmore is the perfect house. Spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you could possibly want. A real home from home. The owners have thought of everything. It’s warm, very comfortable and has great fast WiFi. I can’t think of a better place to stay. The views from the house are stunning. Thank you for the welcome pack, it was much appreciated. I highly recommend Ardmore if visiting Skye and would stay here again with no hesitation. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Ardmore is fabulous
We stayed at Ardmore for a week in early September to explore Skye & have a base to come home to each day to relax & recharge. Ardmore didn’t disappoint! A truly stunning property fully equipped with everything we needed. Ian the owner had thought of everything a guest would need for a perfect stay. We highly recommend a stay here & we are already planning our return visit. Thank you for the perfect holiday retreat 😊

PERFECT PLACE
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ardmore ...it was perfect for entertaining family and accommodated our family perfectly! Scotland is amazing and Ian’s and Ardmore went a long way to make our trip a wonderful experience .

Paradise on Skye
Ardmore is a very well appointed spacious property in a great position for exploring Skye and the mainland. The weather happened to be much better than usual during our stay so we didn't need to take full advantage of the entertainment facilities provided. We were very comfotable there and pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the owner shortly after our arrival. Ian made us feel very welcome and was able to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit. This was our first holiday on Skye and we are determined to come again.

Knockout property
What a wonderful base from which to explore Skye. A beautiful property well furnished with lovely paintings and so well equipped. We were totally soiled for our week here. The weather was glorious and we were able to eat lunch outdoors on the patio with the lovely views of the Cullins and the water. Local pubs and restaurants within walking distance. It was bliss.

First Class Bungalow
Very comfortable, well appointed bungalow within walking distance of good eateries.........ample hot water, white fluffy towels, large lounge and three good sized bedrooms!

Great place to stay on Skye

Outstanding Bungalow
Absolutely stunning Bungalow nice and quiet and it was only up the road from where I was working lovely bedrooms fantastic showers and Beautiful large bathroom and Sky channels and BT sport. Definitely will be returning in the future.

Beautiful house in a stunning location !
Ian and Ann were perfect owners. Thoughtful, the house was decorated for Christmas, welcome pack on arrival. Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Would not hesitate to stay there again ( if it’s nit booked already!) highly recommended

Lovely house in great location for exploring Skye
The house is very comfortable and well equipped . The rooms are large and spacious. Ian the owner had left a welcome pack and called in to check we had all we needed.Broadford is a great base to explore all areas of Skye.The village has several nice restaurants and a large supermarket.
