“I am a very clean and picky person. I bring lysol wipes with me everywhere I go and rewash dishes. But, this was one CLEAN house. Blew my expectations out of the water in many ways. My one and only complaint was dust in the vents but that is only due to an allergy. This house is absolutely adorable and in the perfect location. “We accepted the fact that we booked this condo with nothing to do on this island. This particular condo was janky. The overall layout and view at this building is great. I paid a hefty cleaning fee to stay here too. The entire space smelled like undiluted cleaner when we walked in. But oddly, nothing was clean. We tried to air it out, but there were holes all over the screen to the balcony. So it was bugs all night or the smell. The towels reeked; like they were washed without soap and left in……

“This was the perfect location for hosting a bachelorette party. Close to town but still semi-included. Host was great and notified us once the place was ready prior to check-in time and also allowed us to keep our car at the home a few hours after check out. The home is very spacious and receives beautiful natural lighting during the day. Deck was great, kitchen was stocked, and furniture was comfortable. “This property is just what was advertised. But, the view I don’t remember it being talked about the way I feel it should be. The view is absolutely beautiful. You are like 15 yards (if that) from Lake Erie.”

“This place was in a nice community, but the house was a dump. It was difficult to find and not very clean. There was a hole in the shower surround, the bikes were rusted, and there was a window and door that were obviously almost broken, upon arrival. The owners will charge you an arm and a leg if you don't take the trash out, place the used sheets on the floor, put dishes away, etc. We will not be staying at this vrbo again, but will be returning to Middle Bass Island.”

“The condo was nicely furnished and also clean. The view was the absolute best part. You do have to walk by a very rowdy, loud crowd to get there but once you are back into the condo building it was quiet. Most places we rent normally have standard amenities such as soap, small samples of shampoo, coffee, sugar, small creamers…so we were surprised this condo did not. Also!!! IMPORTANT! 4 out of the 5 times we really needed a shuttle we could not get one. There is only ONE shuttle for Hazzards on……

“We wanted a summer getaway and this was a perfect place to stay since we didn’t plan to stay inside. It is small but not uncomfortable small. Futon was comfortable as was the bed. We had a family get away and didn’t “party”. Our neighbors were extremely respectful. The yard was perfect for the dog.”
