“Such a beautified property set right in the river. Will definitely stay again. Staff was friendly. Only complaint was TV in the room was not working properly but only being there for one night it wasn’t a big deal.”

“Not what you'd expect for a $400/nt Marriott. Old lumpy uncomfortable mattress, a lot of dark mold/mildew in the shower and bath floor tile, no (or broken) AC in the common sitting areas on a 90 degree day so it felt like a sauna, entrance doors with most of the paint worn off. Overall just not well maintained. Staff wasn't bad but not overly friendly either.”

“Property was clean. It was well stocked. Kitchen was very nice. The bathroom was spacious, clean nicely laid out. Did not like that they charge you or Matthew 20 something dollars a day for men that you have right out of the property whether you use it or not they automatically charge you for every night you stay which is not just justifiable. It is better to charge you if you use the amenity as soon as you go in since you have to drive to the location, they can charge you an interest rate……

“The Mountain House is unique. It is truly an old house that has been modified to include rooms and a restaurant. There are about 8-10 rooms in the Main House where we stayed. There is a separate building called the Bunkhouse out back. The room was clean but very small and tight. More so that I thought was possible but we got used to it. The air conditioner and TV worked well but the window shades were hard to operate. Our room had a queen-sized bed and it was nice. The biggest challenge was that……

“Hotel was conveniently located and walkable to restaurants and shops. Nice view of the river. Our room had been updated and was comfortable.”

“Rooms were very clean. Staff was helpful. Parking can fill up because of the bar/restaurant that is off the lobby. Restaurant was nice and had good food. TV was bad. Most channels would not come in at all and others were glitchy. Shower pressure was not very good. There were no issues with my service dog. Great experience overall.”

“Over all stay was okay but when you book through Expedia, they don't provide a good room. I don't know what is the deal between them or it's about the person who stays there. Am an Asian obviously I can't change my face I wish I could to treat equally. They have the best slot for others they put me somewhere down where I can hear if someone walks upstairs I can hear clearly coz it's only the wooden floors and no carpet on it. I have very sensitive ears where I can't sleep. Then I requested them……

“Carpet was damp. The water didn’t get very hot for the jetted tub or the shower. Water pressure absolutely sucked and barely had enough pressure to shower. The chairs on the balcony were cheap plastic chairs that felt like they were going to break when I sat in it. They left a full ashtray on the balcony from the previous stay. TV had very poor blurred picture. It wasn’t worth what I paid for the night.”

“Rooms weren't as clean as I would hope. Beds need to be replaced. They are awful! Pool was nice and we enjoyed that. Staff was friendly. Decent for the price but won't stay again because of the terrible beds.”
