I love this hotel! If I could live here I would. Great staff, spa, food, decor and plenty of extras at no extra cost. It’s one of my favorite hotels even compared to larger metro cities. I stay here for staycations regularly. Never disappoints!

Upon check-in, we were told there were issues with the water and it had to be run for a while & were offered drink coupons.Once we got to our room. it was clean however, our shower was covered with black residue. When I went back down to ask for the room to be cleaned, we were informed by housekeeping that it would be faster to get a new room because there was a shortage of housekeepers. We were checked into a new room that was obviously used and not cleaned. There were dirty towels in the bathroom used cups towels in the bedding area. Both beds were used and unmade, an iron and ironing board out and other miscellaneous items around the room. I went back down to the front desk and showed the video of our room. We were then asked to be put back in our original room and that we would not shower because other guests were complaining of brown water in the sink showers and toilet. The desk agent did try to accommodate us and had someone go check a third room. We were told that that room was good so we went up. We were a little frustrated and decided not shower. We decide to use the drink coupons and when entering the bar we saw it was shut down as there was water leak and dryers attempting to air out the area, and there are pieces missing from the ceiling. It was one lady working but she was nice. We received our drinks but ended up leaving. We decided to let the water run in hopes it would clear up by morning enough to brush out teeth but did not & bottled water had to be used.

We checked in later in the afternoon. Decide to stay at the hotel for dinner instead of going out. We waited a long time at the bar to receive service from anyone. I approached the gentleman at the front desk and was told someone would be back soon. They were on break. We waited a while longer. We were told by other dinners we should probably go somewhere else if we expected good service in Jackson. They were correct!

The Weston hotel is one of the more upscale premier BONVOY properties based on ratings we chose this hotel price was a little expensive however, our dog got to stay for free so we took that into consideration the VALET staff was very nice. They let us park our vehicle in front instead of paying the $28 valet fee. THE initial greeting from the front staff was a little offputting, but then they helped us with our room, the express service for meals needs to be retrained. There was a lack of communication or interest or knowledge in their menu. They had no idea what was available couldn’t give us a timeframe put us on hold to the restaurant because evidently the phone system is not working. This is not expected at a BONVOY premier hotel. We had the same issue the next morning with room service. We received the wrong food items they didn’t bother to let us know that the wellness Juice was no longer available, but it’s still printed on the menu. The menus need to be updated. Housekeeping is excellent. The room carpet is stained. The walk-in shower had a little bit of mold residue around the rim of the shower. we’ve spent close to $700 for two nights including two meals from room service the only game in town so we were a captive audience. We had driven seven hours from Texas and were exhausted. Disappointed with this brand. The redeeming qualities are the heavenly bed and linens. White tea products in the bathroom. Only one robe in the bathroom.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Coffee creamer in room was chunky and inedible. No coffee in the lobby. Restaurant served us a cup to go… which was mediocre and costs 4-5$ for a small cup. Limited free parking on the street. Great location for convention center events though.
