“Best hotel that I stayed on in my trip in Sri Lanka. Check in was easy. Room was very spacious and clean and had a nice balcony. Nice shower with hot water. The restaurant attached had very delicious food and drinks! I highly recommend staying here. Staff was friendly. ”

“The owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. ”

“Our little family had an amazing stay at Riff. The beach is beautiful, rooms are good (the cleaning of the rooms is super!), food is delicious! You can hear the waves from the ocean which is so nice to fall asleep to. You can go see the turtles and Turtle beach (5 minute Tuk Tuk), and snorkling. The staff is incredible and our 7 month baby Charlie was so well taken care off (they even fixed food for her!). Special thank to Benischa and the gang in the restaurant, Charlie misses you already!……

“3泊しました！ 最初の2泊は冷房がないとは知らずで 暑くて朝まで寝れず ファンも気休めレベル 最終日は部屋が空いたので 1000ルピー追加で払ってACのある部屋へ　 ファンもめっちゃ回るしなんで快適な！ テラス、リビング、キッチン、冷蔵庫は共有 水は初日に小さいのを1本くれました^_^ 水売ってます！ アメニティは0 タオルは交換すると150ルピーかかります！ 家族で経営してるのか みなさんとてもフレンドリーでした^_^”

“ This is typical old Hotel. The building is old and the technology (water, electricity ) is old, but all works. Situation in the city is excellent; near centrum, on the beach. Good bed to sleep and the sound of waves is soothing. Good beakfast and the limits from food allergy were well taken into account. And also very early mornig breakfast when needed was possible. We liked. ”

“Heel schoon en comfortabel verblijf. Hele goede wifi, en Airconditioning 2 schone zwembaden mooi aangelegde tuin. Op korte loopafstand van de hoofdweg met veel restaurants. Ontbijt beschikbaar en op zich goed.. maar traag gereserveerd en verkeerde volgorde. Eerst Fruit dan na 10 minuten het Ei, dan na 10 minuten de toast en de koffie en fruitsap pas na 40 minuten... Maar zou er zo weer terug keren... prima.”

“For us 33 Lake Terrace was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautifully designed, the location at the lake is so peaceful and beautiful - simply amazing. On top of this Mr Panduka and the entire staff were exceptional, very discreet but always available and just very nice. The breakfast was very good but the dinner was just amazing, both the food and the atmosphere. While the location is a bit remote (15-20min walk into town) we enjoyed the uniqueness of……

“Dette er et lite og utrolig sjarmerende hotell hvor personlig oppfølging virkelig står i sentrum. Personalet er alltid imøtekommende, blide og får deg til å føle deg velkommen fra første stund. Rommene er vakre og gjennomtenkte, med en luksus som gjør oppholdet ekstra spesielt. Maten er helt vanvittig god – hver eneste rett var en fryd for smaksløkene. Atmosfæren på hotellet gjør at man virkelig slapper av og nyter opplevelsen. Hotellets beliggenhet er også unik. Vi så rett ut på surferne som……
