“A beautiful boutique hotel that makes for a wonderful haven from the chaos on the streets. Beautiful rooms, restaurants, pool and facilities. Food at both restaurants great and the rooftop Japanese restaurant was magnificent. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others.”

“We have just returned from a two week stay at this little paradise and can honestly say we loved every second. The villa has everything that you could need, it is safe, well designed, comfortable and clean with a gorgeous outside area that backs directly onto an unspoilt quiet part of the beach. WiFi and air conditioning are excellent. The team that work at the villa are exceptional. Kind, genuine and welcoming, they make Taru Villa 906 what it is. “This was our 2nd stay at the Asian Jewel. Our return was based on our previous experience which was lovely staff, good food, clean and spacious room. The location is out of town but was easy/cheap to get tuk tuks and being situated next to the lagoon allowed us to see lots of beautiful birds from our balcony. Would recommend and hope to return again.”

“We had a great stay at the hotel. Staff was very helpful and so friendly. Rooms were big and had both fan and AC. We had a room facing the road and it was quite loud bout with earplugs it was absolutely fine. Breakfast was amazing, fruit, porridge, eggs, pancakes etc. Locations was also good, away from busy crowds but only a short walk to more restaurants and shops. Pool was clean and taken care of. I would definitely recommend to stay here. ”

“The owner/host and housekeeping staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. They can arrange tuk tuk for the guests and home style food was so delicous. Due to its location, guests will need to have insects repellent spray applied at all time. Overall very nice stay at villa birdlake. ”
