Great house
This guest house was a perfect stay and location for me and my hubby to celebrate our 40th anniversary! It is exactly as presented in website. Owner is fantastic. Very well appointed with lots of extras most homes not supply! Very kind owner.

Best getaway ever!
Just what we needed for a birthday weekend! Beautiful property, clean, attention to detail and close to activities. Sunsets in the hot tub with stars overhead made this absolutely perfect. We give Valley View A+++++++.

Lovely home just outside Johnson City

Awesome Place!
This property was very clean, and at a great location! The hot tub is a nice plus, and the hang out area on the porch is very nice for coffee. We grilled some steaks and enjoyed the view from the porch in the evening. Definitely recommend the stay here, and the owner is very helpful and nice!

Property and home were beautiful inside and out. All the amenities of home, nice and quiet and close to shopping, restaurants and a short drive to wineries and Fredericksburg. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing stay
Three sisters enjoyed a long weekend at Valley View. Sky was helpful in making sure we had everything we needed, and it was clear he carefully maintained the home to high standards. The home was clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was a well-equipped kitchen. The provided locally-sourced coffee was a very nice, welcome touch. The home is open concept and any sounds to/from the master are audible throughout which was fine for the three sisters but could be disappointing if a couple was looking for a romantic getaway with another couple. Sky provided recommendations on local restaurants and was on point with Bryan’s in Johnson City for amazing food. The home is within an hour of multiple smaller towns and two large cities, so it’s a good launch pad. We enjoyed several local wineries. We saved Biga on the Banks in San Antonio for our final night there for a celebratory meal.

Quiet and clean
We were able to check in quickly and Sky was very accommodating. We enjoyed the quiet and we got out to eat and drive through the exotic zoo. We had a blast!! Another good spring break with the kiddos in and excellent clean home!!

Beautiful views in a quite area. Gorgeous home is open, impeccably clean, stocked with everything you could need and has an great hot tub. Easy reservation and check in, will definitely stay here again when we escape to the hill country

Much needed peaceful getaway
We had a wonderful stay at this home. I got to wake up on my birthday morning, go drink coffee on the front porch, and look over the hills and greenery of beautiful Johnson City. Our group cooked breakfast and dinner together here both days and had everything all the appliances and cookware needed in the kitchen. Got to pet cows over the fence, went on a dirt road walk, did a workout in the spacious driveway. Played music on the TV with the music channels. Hot tub was the highlight for us, though! This house is very close to town too. The brewery and moonshire distillery downtown were great.

Beautiful, clean and stunning
The two of us stayed at this beautiful property for 6 nights while we working in the area. Sky met up and showed us the house and filled us in on the details of the place including the hot tub. It was spotless and in a beautiful location. We loved our stay here and will be back next time to take in all the sites in Texas Hill Country.

Property was newly built and/or newly remodeled. Very clean and met all of our expectations. Very close to town and has the Texas Hills Winery just 1/4 mile down the road. I would definitely recommend. The owner was very polite as well as military and first responder friendly.

Stayed here for three nights. Cabin was spotless and very well taken care of. It had absolutely everything that we needed during our stay. The owner Mr. Sky was friendly and made our stay very pleasant. We will definitely be back in the near future. If someone is looking to go visit Johnson City or Fredericksburg, you definitely want to stay at this cabin!

Sky is a very gracious host, and went the extra mile to make us feel very welcome. The home is a beautiful place to vacation for us, we love the Texas Hill Country, and this home allowed us to really be in it. The views were amazing, the home was comfortable, and the hot tub was amazing. We look forward to being able to stay there again.

Hidden jewel in Texas wine country
We found this house to meet and exceed every expectation in a VRBO. When we arrived at the home, we were greeted by a most gracious owner. He was very welcoming and had called us ahead of time to ask if we had any specific needs or wants. Very kind man. We found the house to be beautiful and comfortable. It has everything you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable. It felt like home to us. It is centrally located and is surrounded by numerous wineries. The weather was perfect and the evenings lovely. We were able to see the gorgeous harvest moon. Thanks to Sky, the owner. I would recommend this VRBO to everyone! It is truly a hidden gem. Sky has done an amazing job in creating a beautiful retreat. There is quality and perfection throughout the home: beautiful kitchen, excellent mattresses on the bed, beautiful deck and view with a barbecue grill, and restful surroundings. This is a great base for exploring Texas Hill Country!

Quiet, relaxing and comfortable
We really enjoyed this property. Shared with friends for 1 night, we stayed 2 extra nights. Clean, comfortable bed and nice kitchen area. Nice base for day trips in area. Also has hot tub and grill which we didn't use but nice to have available.

Fantastic hill country cottage!
What a wonderful find in Johnson City. Sky has designed and built a wonderful cottage that was perfect for my husband and me and my brother on our visit to the hill country. Close enough to enjoy many wineries in the area, drive to Fredericksburg to shop, and eat at Bryan’s on 290, and with an incredible view from the front porch of the Pedernales valley to enjoy the rare rain. Loved it all and plan to come back as soon as we can. Thank you, Sky!
