"We enjoyed spending New Years at Lake Sutherland! There is a lot to do nearby even in the winter, and the house is lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and watching the fog roll in and out of the lake. The house is very well outfitted and was great for two couples. We all thought the beds were comfortable, too. "Love this little house in the woods! Great size, close to the water, beautiful windows for looking at the trees, and a few miles off the main drag so it's super quiet. Only thing was that my partner had a really strong allergic reaction to the bedroom, to the point where we slept on the pull out couch. I'd assume there's some mold in the corner wall that should be addressed. Pull out couch was quite comfy. I'd also suggest getting some fire tools for the wood burning stove - a log poker would go...

"Eagles nest was amazing. The view couldn’t be better and the cabin was perfect for my fiancé and I. Even though it is located off the highway, the vehicle noise was drowned out by the beautiful mountainside and lake. We had a sedan so we didn’t feel comfortable going down the hill with it however there was parking above that worked great. The property is central to several parks and amenities. Would stay again."

With easy access to Port Angeles, Hurricane Ridge and the Olympic National Park it made the location of Lynn and Scott’s place perfect. "What a gem! My hubby and I headed to the coast for a few days last week. We stumbled upon the bus on Expedia and thought we’d book it for one night and see what we thought. Well we loved it so much we ended up booking it for an additional 2 nights! This place is amazing! So quiet and peaceful and perfect! The bus was cozy and clean and we had the best time staying here. "This was our first time to the Pacific Northwest. We stayed here at the suggestion of friends and it was just lovely. The cabin has several little touches that made it a perfect place for our little family. I am glad we went to the cabin before purchasing groceries so we could see what was already there. Our one 'not so great' thing was how close the cabin is to the highway. We did hear cars early in the morning, so it's not quite as secluded as we thought. Don't let that deter you from staying....

"Our family of 5 stayed in this cabin. The kitchen and bathrooms was convenient and clean. The bedding was clean and comfy. We ate outside on the picnic table because there is no dining area. (Not a problem because the view was lovely and the weather was nice.) No Mosquitos. Firepit was nice to have and we used it nightly to make smores. Great place!!"

"This home was perfect for our 2 families to enjoy spring break. So many spaces to enjoy outside by the creek, the fire pit, the sauna, or hot tub. Indoor was equally well thought out and had everything we needed and more. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

"The lodge was well supplied and cozy. Despite staying during the coldest weekend in western Washington, we kept warm with blankets and fireplace. The location had good amenities and we did not have any complaints! Would totally recommend!"

"They tents were decent, the beds were comfortable but the bathrooms were dirty, no paper towels, toliet paper out. The property it self didn’t do Glamping justice. It had no views expect some run down properties. I think they could do better considering how beautiful the area is."

"The Porthole was a perfect home base for exploring Port Angeles, Olympic National Park, and ferrying over to Victoria for a day. We stocked the mini-fridge with food for breakfast and pack-able lunches which we picked up at the Safeway a couple blocks away. We couldn’t get up to Hurricane Ridge (no chains for the rental car) but found some great day hikes near Crescent lake and even wound up driving out to Cape Flattery and Ozette where the trails were incredible.
